A little difficult to put together but super sturdy so far and good quality!
Spent hours trying to assemble this bed. The parts are held together with screw and little threaded inserts (see pictures). These inserts seem to be held in only by the paint. As soon as you start to tighten, you will hear a pop and that is the sound of the insert pulling out of part. There are also a few rivet nut inserts that will start to spin when trying to put a bolt in. So from no weld, to too much weld. All kinds of sharp little wires and burrs sticking out of welded areas. Lastly, unless your mattress is about 3 inches thick, there is barley to no safety rail. Our kids mattress is the same height as the railing (mattress only, no box spring) so a additional safety rail will be needed so she don't roll out and fall five feet to the floor. Deciding if I want to disassemble this thing, try to box back up (comes in two boxes), and send back or keep and repair...
Easy to assemble but required a drill to attach slats to the frame. We were missing 4 legs that hold up the slats. Didn’t bother asking to replace because we just alternated sides and it’s still sturdy. Planning to get a 4-6in box spring instead of what we have. Expected an off white but it’s definitely taupe. Still pretty but not at all white as listed.
FALSE ADVERTISING. In the website image, they make it look like the side of the bed goes all the way to to the floor, flush with the floor. I spent so long putting the whole thing together only to discover that the whole bed is raised on either side terrible product images on website there’s no way I’m going to be able to take this whole thing apart on my own and box it up and ship it back. I need a refund, I also need someone to come here and help me put this heavy ugly thing in the trash
After looking and going tru a lot of reviews I end up getting this bed. I got 2 of them it took me an hour 10 mins to put both of them together. I am a single mom of 3. It probably would be faster if I had a second person to help me. The beds look strong, I was expecting something really cheap for the price but no. I love the capacity weight because my 7 year old is 4' 3" and weights 85 pounds so I really needed a bed that had good weight capacity so it can last me in the long run. I can afford to buy ot change things often. So this bed it's just not beautiful, it's affordable and perfect for my needs. Mattresses are 8" so as you can see in the picture ther isn't really a gap in the bed headboard.
I am really upset and disappointed because I order a white color and it received a black color, my son helped me assembled and when he sent me the pictures I was in shock, I don’t like black color, I feel like I’m in a funeral. It took him 4 hours and the box was huge, no was too sent it back. Then when it was done, It was very weak and not strong at all, I’m very disappointed I though that it was a good quality and I was expecting a white color one. I’m very sad.
I got this bed frame to be able to get rid of my box spring because it has support beams. Well less than 2 months of me having it and part of the support beam is bent to hell. Luckily I was able to bend it back a bit. Annoying part is i cant even reach out to the seller. Other than that, its fine but that’s a pretty big flaw/defect.
Set up was a bitch. But it looks great! I’m a little concerned about the stability of the headboard mostly because of my 18 month old. But price point is great and I love the way it looks! Also my mattress seems to be a little bit bigger than than the frame
Bed came out perfect its very sturdy bed frame if your looking to get a queen size bed frame i would recommend that you get quick set up process too
Not the same bed as pictured! With that said, the bed was easy to put together. It took 2 hours by myself. However this is a very sturdy bed. No queeking noises. Once up, it is a nice bed, but just not the same bed I thought I was buying so I took off 1 star for false advertising!
This is a beautiful bed, quite easy to assemble with two people and it’s very sturdy. I would definitely recommend this bed if you’re considering it.
It only took 2 people to build this bed and it was fast and easy! i personally love it
We recently got this bed frame, and we’re really happy with it! First off, it looks fantastic—sleek, modern, and exactly what we were hoping for. It fits perfectly with our bedroom decor and matches the description in the listing. Assembly was straightforward and the required screws setup came included. It took a little time, but nothing too difficult. Once everything was in place, the frame felt solid and sturdy. The height of the bed is just right—not too low or too high, giving us ample space under the bed for storage, which is a nice bonus. One thing we were concerned about with a metal bed frame was potential noise, but we’re happy to report it’s very quiet. No squeaks or creaks, even after a few nights of sleep, so it’s been great in terms of stability and sound. The material is soft and comfortable to the touch, and we love how it feels. The frame has a good amount of metal content, which gives it a strong foundation while still maintaining a sleek, clean look. Another nice thing is that it’s not too heavy, which made it easier to move around during assembly. Overall, the bed frame is sturdy, looks great, and has been quiet and comfortable. The size is perfect for our queen mattress, and it’s exactly what we needed to finish off our bedroom. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a stylish, practical, and easy-to-assemble bed frame!
Easy to set up . Though one of the C frame parts were bent . I got pretty mad at that but I took it outside and took a hammer to it and I got it to straighten up enough where I could get the frame to push through it . The instructions were pretty straight forward and it’s otherwise pretty sturdy . I actually ordered this same bed frame for my 2 older kids (6) and (8) so I was kinda shocked about the frame being bent but it’s and easy fix when you’re determined to put it together . I’d give it a 5 if it wasn’t for that part .
Ordered this twin bed w/ trundle for a small bedroom. Here is a breakdown of my thoughts... EDIT in MAR 2021: So I tested positive for COVID-19. I did not want my wife to get infected, so I moved into this bedroom (which doubles as my work-from home-office) for 2 weeks. I have to say, this bed is very comfortable! I slept very well during the time that I was in there. And the wife did not get the 'Rona, so all good! ORIGINAL REVIEW: Quality of material: 4.5/5 stars - It's not hardwood, but I knew that when I purchased it. All the pieces were in good shape except for one small ding on the underside of one board. It's small and not going to be visible, so no big deal. We like the finish. It's a good color to match how we are going to finish the room. Sturdiness: 5/5 stars - I realized when putting this bed together that it is meant to stay together once assembled. For example: The sideboards are bolted into the headboard, not set down in a slot. Also, each slat the mattress sits on is secured with a screw at each end. This also applies to the center bar running the length of the bed. It will require some time to take apart if/when we move it out of the room. On the other hand, there is no rattle, and it feels quite solid to an adult average-sized male. I am happy to sacrifice some portability for sturdiness. Aesthetics: 4.5/5 stars - As I mentioned, we like the finish. I may end up staining the slats to match the rest of the finished wood. It will be less noticeable in the corners. Of course, putting bedding on will help, but I may do it anyway. If I do, I will update. Also, the visible part of the trundle bed when pushed in looks good in my opinion because it blends in well. Good design on that. Incidentally, the mattress in the picture is a Linenspa 8 Inch Memory Foam and Innerspring Hybrid-Mattress. The max mattress thickness for the trundle bed is 8", and I can tell you it just barely glides underneath. We also got the 10" version of the same thing for the top since it will get used more. Assembly & Instructions: 2/5 stars - Ok, the assembly itself is not too hard once you figure out the directions. But that is where the problem lies. The instructions suck. There are NO written steps, only pictures. And it is very difficult to determine which way some boards should face in relation to other pieces. Particularly when it come to the headboard and footboard. Also, the hardware diagram (with item #s) are not to scale, which would be ok IF the packaging for the hardware was labeled. Unfortunately, it is not. It's just a bunch of different-sized bolts, ends, screws, etc dumped into 2 different bags. I had to spend some time figuring out which screw was which before I got started. And even then, I had to be careful as I went along to make sure I was using the correct hardware for different steps. NOTE: The instructions call for using a screwdriver by hand. I used a cordless drill and was careful not to over-torque or over-tighten the screws. This sped up the process significantly. Conclusion: Despite the bad instructions, I like this bed/trundle combo. I would get it again if needed. As time goes on, I will updated this review to describe wear & tear if I feel it's necessary. 4/5 Stars.
