The ease with which it went together and the firm base it provides for a queen mattress.
If you buy this, then for sure you will not have to get box springs. I really like this frame, I first used it with box springs and my bed was almost 4 feet high. I took away the box springs and then the height was perfect. This frame is so sturdy, and it was really easy to put together. It is metal, it has a look of wood though. It looks sleek and really nice. It does not make a sound either, there is no squeaking or sliding. It was a great value and the instructions were really easy to follow. It comes with everything that you need, and requires no other tools.
We got this for my son after his toddler bed, he needed more room. This bed is great, super easy to put together!! My only concern is that it is not for over 200lbs. I like to lay on the bed with him and read to him, and we are close to that limit when we are both on the bed. However, he does acrobatics on it all the time and no issues so far! We elected not to use a box spring and it’s been fine without, the mattress is mostly foam with some springs. Overall great buy!
We love this bed! It looks exactly as pictured, it’s sturdy and was easy to assemble! There’s plenty of room under the bed for storage and I love the fact that it doesn’t move around and scratch the floor!
Parts are not labeled, instructions are horrible. Once we figured out how it was supposed to go together, we realized that there were holes missing or in the wrong spots. In some cases there was a visible stamp where the hole should have been drilled but was only drilled in the other side of the piece, not all of the way thru. Also the description stated that the mattress would be slightly recessed into the frame to prevent slippage, this is not the case. Waste of money and time. Very frustrating. Returning to bargainbeddingusa.com. Would rate a zero if possible.
I have a 12 inch hybrid mattress and needed a sturdy metal frame that was quiet. This bed frame is perfect height with storage capability under it. I was worried the exposed legs would look bad but it actually looks elegant to me. It has pre cut slots for a headboard which I bought separately and mounted it with no problem at all. This was easy to build and actually somehow made my mattress more comfortable. Possibly because there are more slats and it distributes the mattress evenly. I had a great and quiet sleep. Excellent for the price.
This is a pretty nice bed frame when you’re working with limited space like an apartment (we’re going to find better side tables eventually). The instructions are straight forward but be warned it will take you a good long time to put this together. I think my time was 4 1/2 hours total and I felt like I needed a vacation and a drink afterwards. For reference, we have an extra thick 18” mattress. So if you have something more standard sized it’ll sit lower than what you see here
Over all the quality doesn’t seem to bad. Easy to put together. I’m giving it three stars bc the orange tint in the wood ruins the theme of my room. It’s hard to match now bc it was supposed to be a natural wood. But this is def an orange tint. So sad. 😓 not as pictured in the ad
we bought two of these. BOTH are ruined within 3 months of ownership with no ability to return which leaves me feeling ripped off. The claim of superior strength apparently does NOT apply to anyone in the 200lb - 250lb range. What is the point of claiming multiple thousand pound strength when that is far from the truth. Both frames assembled according to instructions. One frame’s small support bars bent after a week of use and would fall to the floor causing damage to the hardwood floor. The kicker that pissed me off was the frame bending and not only causing major damage to the hardwood floor beneath but narrowly causing injury for our son. Please do not purchase this poorly made product. It may cause injury or damage to your mattress or flooring in your home.
I had an old twin bed and box spring that needed to be on a frame so I said them both on this frame and it works very well
Both beds were damaged and the company wanted me to pay for the return…so I am out the purchase and shipping of 2 beds…they said they would credit my account and didn’t have to return them….i ordered 2 others and those are nice and worth the money,,,just frustrating that I paid for 4 and only can use 2
Very easy to put together. My wife put it together by herself. She got this for the guest room. Looks good and seems sturdy.
Perfect, easy to assemble, quiet. I removed the wood railing is my platform bed and replaced it with this. Fit perfect and just the right height.
I was wicked surprised on how awesome of both products are. I took a chance and both the platform bed frame and hybrid mattress went beyond my expectations. I give both oh them a 10 out of 10. Both of these priced together were $350.00 excellent quality. Bed frame easy to assemble, very durable all in all just a great piece of furniture. Highly recommended. One Happy customer here.
