UPDATE*** As of April 7, 2015 nearly a month and a half since I assembled the bed, I have not had one problem with the bed. I had some extra time on my hands today with some rainy weather, so I took out the allen wrench and attempted to tighten all the screws. No need. With the blue thread locker i put on there during assembly, everything is still tight and sturdy. A very active 3 year old boy has not managed to tear this bed up yet and I doubt from the sturdy construction that he will be able to. I hope this helps your buying decision.****** I bought this bed for my son for his new "big boy bed". We love it. It is the perfect height for my wife and I to tuck him in without having to climb up the bed like you would have to with a traditional bunk bed, and it isn't too high that if he were to fall or jump (most likely) off the bed, that he could hurt himself. I used a standard twin mattress with no bunky board or anything underneath. The supports are close enough together once you clip everything together to support a regular mattress. I bought one here on bargainbeddingusa.com for like $95, and it came rolled up in a small box. You can read my review on the mattress there. As far as the whole buying process, bargainbeddingusa.com got it out to me and it was supposed to be delivered on the 3rd day, but due to a winter storm and to bad road conditions in my area, I didn't get it for over a week past the scheduled delivery date. But, alas, it did finally come. The box is HEAVY! You will need two people to handle it. I unpacked it and laid all the pieces out on the floor so I could find everything, and from start to finish, I took about 3 hours to assemble it. I could have assembled it a little faster, but I chose to put the blue Locktite thread-locker on all my screws as I assembled it. I highly recommend that, so you won't have to worry about the screws coming loose after a three year old jumps on it for a month. It gives me a little piece of mind to know that they are locked it there, but not permanently so disassembly is possible if you ever need to in order to move, or sell, etc. You can pick the blue-glue up at any home improvement store for about $6. So, all in all, I think this bed was an excellent purchase. I would highly recommend the bed. It seems to be very sturdy and will last a long time, even with my rough and rowdy three year old son. I love the storage in the steps. The bottom part is a pull-out drawer, and we used that to put his cars and airplanes in, and the top part is a swing-out cabinet that we put a little storage bin with some Lincoln logs in. Perfect for toy storage. Buy it, you won't be disappointed. I will update this if anything changes and you guys need to know about it. For sure use the thread-lock!

Overall the bed frame turned out great I do love it my toddler loves it. She’s 4 and she absolutely loves that she has a bigger bed. The set up was maybe an 8/10. The instructions wasn’t specific or clear on which side the the rails poles were supposed to go and I didn’t pay attention to the holes until it was too late. So the rails are at the wrong end. I did try to unscrew the screw to switch it but the screw stripped and now it’s just stuck. But it’s fine my toddler won’t need the rails forever so it’s fine. The outlet works fine, it’s stable, it’s not squeaky. The drawers for storage are a great plus but those suckers were a little hard to put together eventually after like 15 minutes of trying I got it.

Looks great but some of the pieces were rusted and had a bunch of dust considering they were wrapped in plastic bags....

Purchased this platform bed and absolutely love it! It was very easy to assemble and it even came with its own tools so I didn’t have to have anything or purchase additional tools to put together. The instructions were easy to read. Very solid frame. Also the bottom has rubber grips so it is functional on hard or carpeted floors. Love how reasonably priced this was as well.

My adult son moved away, leaving a hole in my heart and an empty room! He’s coming home for a week for Thanksgiving and longer for Christmas, so I needed a bed for him to fill up his old room and offer him a cozy place to sleep. This bed is perfect and looks great! My husband put it together without too much trouble, and it seems sturdy. The poster was left by my son - he will love his new guest room bed and feel right at home!

Showed up with scratches on it although for the price, not concerned. Works and fits a king size mattress. Bit higher than I envisioned which is not a bad thing.

Purchased for our seldomly used cabin in August. Maybe slept on 20 times- MAYBE. My daughter went to the cabin last night and found this frame snapped & broken. Holds 3500 lbs? The most weight ever on this bed was 250lbs. I bought it because of the rating for weight. I can't believe I can't even return it. Waste of $$. DO NOT PURCHASE.

  • Great quality, even better price! Very happy with this headboard and came with easy, seamless instructions!

My husband a I decided to purchase a new bed and after scouting the internet we came across this one. It came very fast! Putting it together took a long time (about 2 hours) but, the instructions were very simple to follow. After putting it together I think it’s absolutely stunning. The fabric part is supposed to be suede it’s incredibly soft and cozy. The bed it self is very sturdy and has metal supports, it doesn’t squeak. Charging ports are nice too. The drawers are made out of fabric but they seem to be good quality. The bed is more white than beige in person. Definitely worth the money!

At minimum I was expecting IKEA quality. It's not horrible but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Some of the pieces were warped and therefore useless since they did not lay flat. Otherwise, it was easy to assemble and is a good size.

Would NOT recommend. The frame collapsed a few times when my daughter who is under the weight requirement sat down on it. I followed all instructions but the middle of frame can fold and there is no screw or bolt to secure from collapsing. Also the metal middle keep falling out because it’s also not secure

Got this for my son as an early Christmas present. Helped save space in his room and gives him an amazing area to chill and game in. He was so excited when he came home and seen it. Amazing buy for the price and took roughly 2 hours to build by myself. Easy instructions and all tools provided.

Super easy to assemble! I'm terrible at that kind of thing, and it took my only a few minutes. The mattress feels comfortable to lie on, Good as an extra bed and foldable occupy less space when not in use. The mattress feels comfortable to lie on, Not bad for it's price. Very comfortable!!

Purchased 2 twin beds. Bed arrived in a compact secure package. It took approximately 30-45 minutes to put together once the screws were figured out. They are metric labeled in the directions, all the same color, and very close in size. Can be assembled by one person but 2 is definitely better. Note the wood for headboard and footboard does not sit flush when attached so don’t think switching front to back would help. It is only 1/2 inch out.
