The size is perfect. It has enough space on all sides to tuck in the blankets or comforter. It looks great and feels amazing. It is so soft. It seems sturdy so far. I did look into bunkie boards just in case I couldn't shake off if it'll support my daughter's jumping. The value for money is on the nose. I thought I was missing parts, but it was stuck inside the box with the safety fabric it came in. I built this myself and the ease of movement was fine. It was heavy that's for sure. Update: I had my charger plugged in and it completely burnt it.

We don't have a private guest room and converted a section of our basement into a guest sleeping area. I've been trying to add elements to the space to make it feel nicer even though it is an unfinished basement, and this bed frame really brought a lot of the space together. It is beautiful, sturdy (doesn't squeak or wobble), you aren't required to use a box spring, and I really love that we still can use storage space below the frame. Plus, compared to other platform bed frames, I really love that this one can accommodate up to 600 lbs when most others I saw only accommodated up to 440 lbs. I didn't want guests worried about the bed buckling/wobbling, especially with couples, and this thing will hold up great. My husband, 4 year old son, and I all bounded on the bed and hung out on it for a bit after it was assembled and it didn't budge. Our mattress is a queen pillow top that's 18" deep, so I was worried the headboard wouldn't be visible with a deep mattress. You can see in the image there are a few inches of the headboard are still visible above the mattress, so I was pleased to see it accommodates deeper mattresses nicely. It was important to me that our guests and the pillows weren't against the wall. Also may be helpful to note: the frame fits the queen size mattress perfectly - the mattress doesn't overhang on the sides and the frame isn't too wide. Its just right. The frame is a true matte black. Sometimes matte black metal furniture can have that weird textured/powder coated surface, which I am not a fan of because it collects dust and doesn't clean easily, but this doesn't have that. Its smooth metal. Really beautiful. It'll be nice to wipe down easily when it gets dusty. It took just over a week to arrive - came right in the middle of the three day delivery window provided, which was nice. I'm a Prime member who is used to getting things delivered within a few days, so the longer delivery time left me antsy, especially because I was so excited for this item to arrive. I appreciated that I didn't have to wait terribly long for it to get here. The box was a bit banged up, but the frame was packaged nicely and there was no damage to the frame itself when we opened the box (it arrived in one box). Head's up: the instructions are horrible. We've done our fair share of image-only assembly instructions, so we know how to navigate through them, but this one was pretty bad. The frame took about an hour to put together with two people. Pull everything out first because not all items are clearly labeled upon first glace. Some of the smaller component boxes didn't have labels on the outside - you had to open them up to find the labels. Other boxes contained two different types of support beams, but the numbered stickers on the outside of the box didn't clearly identify which number went with which type of beam. Also, the instructions contained numbers as well as letters, but there wasn't a legend at the beginning of the instructions to serve as a guide to tell you which label was assigned to each component. Given the poor placement of the labels directly on the items, we initially didn't see any items that had letters on them, so we were obviously confused because we couldn't figure out what the instructions were referring to. However, as we continued to open the items up we figured out that the letters refer to the washers/screws/smaller components (which we didn't see until later because they were smaller), while the numbers refer to the beams and larger components of the frame. Not a deal-breaker, but sorting it all out was annoying. If we'd known how stupid the labeling was and how unclear the instructions were in advance it probably would have saved us some time. One thing to note about assembly: when you're putting the slats on the platform/bottom portion of the frame the mattress rests on, there are two beams that should be affixed at the far ends of the frame that are different in shape from the other crossbeams - they're a little wider and flatter looking than the others. You need to make sure these are oriented so that the flat portion of the beam is facing up towards the ceiling and the bowed part of the beam is facing down towards the ground. The images in the instructions aren't really clear on this requirement. The only reason we figured this out is because we started trying to screw one of the beams in the wrong way (with the bowed part facing up) and the beam wasn't screwing in properly - we were having to add A LOT of pressure to the frame just to get the screw to go in/align properly. When we stopped and looked more closely we saw that the beam is a little bowed out on one side - that's when we realized the beam should be flat on top so the mattress rests properly against the frame. Once we turned it over, the screws aligned perfectly with no issues/tension. It was only after we figured it out that my husband found an obscure image in the instructions that wasn't really clear that the beam should be oriented a specific way. Overall, we LOVE this frame - the quality of the product is amazing and the style is classic enough that it'll suit whatever aesthetic we want to have in that space for a while. Even though the instructions were annoying, I don't feel like that's enough to dock any stars because its doesn't impact the product itself. I do suppose if people don't take the time to assemble it properly (which could happen because the instructions aren't great), then that could impact the integrity of the product, but we didn't have that issue. Just go slow and if something isn't sitting right, don't force it. Go back and revisit to make sure it's situated properly. So long as you're willing to sort through the annoying instructions, its a great buy. Definitely glad we purchased this frame and would absolutely recommend!

Bought 11 months ago. Has been used normally for the past 10 months and then suddenly the main support bar on the head of the bed broke off. The metal literally snapped so there's no way to fix it without another piece. Would love a new piece so I can continue to use this bedframe, but what's happened doesn't impress me to say the least. No one who's used this bed is overweight and the was no large strain on it

I know this bed has held every bit of 500 lbs and was strong and sturdy. The assembly was easy and my son loves the sleek design.

I’ll start this off by saying if you don’t like building things and can’t set aside a few hours to do so, this isn’t the bedframe for you. My partner built this for me and it definitely threw him for a loop and was confusing at times but once we got it all put together we were so happy we picked this one out, this has to be one of the best bedframes i’ve ever owned, and while I haven’t owned many, I don’t think I could find anything that could ever compare. It’s low to the ground, there’s places to set your tv remote, water bottle, whatever, absolutely no noise whatsoever, a place to plug stuff in, and the lights are an added bonus, this exceeded all of my expectations and is definitely something to write home about. I would 100% recommend this as long as you’re willing to commit to hauling it inside and building it, definitely have someone strong if you buy this, the delivery person left it in our yard because it was so heavy🤣

I can't give this a 5-star.. the bed frame arrived quickly - ahead of the estimated schedule. It was easy enough to assemble although it took a little time because of all the pieces and bolts. Some pieces were mis-numbered or missing numbers but it was easy enough to figure out. The steel frame is sturdy for our king size bed... so here's where this bed leaves me looking for better/more... 1. I wish the headboard was taller... once you put the mattress on and add your pillows, the affects of the lights in the headboard are kind of hidden - especially if your mattress is 14" or over. I think you would need a 10" - 12" mattress to get the full affect but anything over and you miss out. 2. If you plan to use the 2 USB ports in the headboard for your phone/tablet/electronics you will still need an external USB plug for the lights. The light strip is not powered by a wall plug but a USB... also, once you install the light strip, the USB end ends up at the side of the bed, not in the middle where the build in power strip is. 3. The shelf in the headboard needs something on the backside... the shelf itself is only 5 1/2" wide and just under 5" tall... it will be very easy for stuff to fall off the backside. Right now we have the head board under the window (we like the cool breeze). When we do have the bed against the wall, because of baseboard trim, you can't really get the frame flush with the wall. We'll make something to put there - not a huge deal but it's an inconvenience. The description says that the shelves are perfect for putting books, tissue box, lamps etc. on them but again, the shelf is only 5.5" wide so unless you have a really small lamp, i just don't see how this will work. The bed is not horrible and we do like it, but it leaves us underwhelmed. We'll make the adjustments we need and sleep well.

Gry/Silver Reminiscent of a lovely pewter metal bed I had from Bombay Co. some years ago. This sturdy platform frame bed arrived in great condition, fits my taste perfectly and elevates my foam mattress with a proud elegance fit for a princess (or a Queen)! Probably the last bed frame I'll ever have to purchase in my lifetime. This is a real bed, frame and all (go ahead and Skip the $40-$60 platform only option (unless you move residences a lot). It looks lovely! Took almost as long to unwrap the pieces as it did to assemble (well, almost). I mention that, to say there was little to no chance of there being damage, as the pieces were seriously plastic-bound. Instructions are laid out very well (if you know your ABC's, can count and follow directions all will be well!). Admittedly, assembly was somewhat of a chore for just one (but I was tired out having to disassemble my existing platform bed first). That one, from a major online home retailer held up for 3 years; but, fortunately the capsized plywood was "just what I needed" to make the switch to this sturdy "thoroughBED" with a touch of nostalgia. IMO, Attaching the plastic grooves on the rods FIRST would make assembly go quicker at the end. Hurrying at the home stretch might mean not aligning rods correctly; and if grooves are forced out of the holes once inserted into the frame, they will break. *Tip*: Check rod placement before snapping plastic grooves in place. Once in place they're not coming out without a fight!

Cute but wish it didn’t come with this stain. Theres a flap there on the other side of it when assembling that ig somehow bled and transferred its shape onto the pink which is disappointing but other than that it’s cute and sturdy and my daughter loves it.

This bed was extremely easy to build, it only took me around 20 mins to build by myself. One minor issue was the packaging as the case that held the screws broke and some screws were moving around inside the box. The bed material feels good however the bed itself does not feel so sturdy. Specially, when you compare it to another similar bed like the one I got from Novella which is just 5$ more.

Very consistent box spring. Easy to assemble and very firm. It deserves a better cover, but it is ok.

This is a must steal! Absolutely no hassle. Everything you need is inside the box no additional tools required, they even put extra in there just in case. The quality of the bed is no short from the description which is rare! You get exactly what you want and it's exactly how the description describes. The headboard is adjustable which makes it adaptable to the width of your bed. The frame itself is sturdy, the all around velvet material is great. It takes about two hours to assemble which is nothing , one person could put the bed up by themselves, now that's easy ! For the price, and nothing additional is required, wow. Great bed, great price, smooth delivery. Huge shout out to the company for having everything so neat, organized, and labeled which made set up easy.

Allow me to cut straight to the chase: I am head over heels in love with the Winkalon Queen Bed Frame. From its sleek design to its practical features, this bed frame has exceeded all my expectations, delivering comfort, stability, and convenience in spades. Let's start with the assembly process—a task that often strikes fear into the hearts of even the most seasoned DIY enthusiasts. But fear not, for assembling this bed frame is a breeze. Armed with nothing more than the provided instructions and a bit of patience, I embarked on the assembly journey solo. And while it did take a couple of hours to complete, the process was surprisingly straightforward. Each component is meticulously labeled, and the accompanying illustrations make it easy to match the hardware to the screws provided. Before I knew it, the headboard was fully assembled, and I was well on my way to completing the rest of the frame. One of the standout features of this bed frame is its sturdy construction. Crafted from heavy-duty materials, it exudes durability and stability, providing a solid foundation for a restful night's sleep. The absence of box springs is a game-changer, streamlining the overall profile of the bed and making it easier to climb in and out—perfect for pet owners like myself who welcome furry companions into their sleeping space. However, it's worth noting that the frame's design includes additional support legs running down the middle, which may limit storage space underneath. I draw attention to this because the photo may not be entirely clear about the 5 feet running the bed's length. While this was a minor inconvenience, it was a small price to pay for the comfort and stability that the bed frame provides. Speaking of comfort, let's talk about the mattress platform. Once assembled, it offers unparalleled support for a queen-sized mattress, ensuring a comfortable and restorative sleep experience. While the mattress may have a tendency to slide slightly on the platform, this can be easily remedied with simple adjustments. Now, let's turn our attention to the bed frame's innovative features—the storage headboard and RGB lights. The overhead storage compartments provide convenient space for storing bedtime essentials, keeping them within arm's reach for added convenience. Meanwhile, the RGB lights add a touch of ambiance to the bedroom, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. While I initially had reservations about integrating the lights with my smart home assistant, the accompanying app proved to be intuitive and user-friendly, allowing for easy control and customization of the lighting, even without Google Home, Siri or Alexa. In summary, the Winkalon Queen Bed Frame is a triumph of design and functionality. It strikes the perfect balance between style and practicality, offering a comfortable and stable sleeping solution without the need for box springs. While assembly may require a bit of time and effort, the end result is well worth it—a sturdy bed frame that promises years of restful sleep and relaxation. I wholeheartedly recommend the Winkalon Queen Bed Frame to anyone in search of a superior sleeping experience. With its thoughtful design, robust construction, and innovative features, it has earned its place as the centerpiece of my bedroom. Don't hesitate—make the switch to the Winkalon Queen Bed Frame and elevate your sleep to new heights of comfort and convenience.

I’d been looking for a basic black bed frame for my toddlers first bed, something that was easy to put together. This had good reviews and many stated the ease of assembly, so that was a win for me. Took my husband and I maybe 30 minutes. It’s perfect for the mattress we chose, as well as the room theme. I’d purchase again!
