We needed a new bed for our guest room. I have a member of my family that is very heavy so I often consider that as a factor when I am looking at furniture. This will hold a lot of weight. This is very sturdy. It doesn’t shake. The height is not too tall & not too short. It works great.
Encantada
This bed frame is replacing my more expensive wooden one that broke. After multiple moves, I decided metal would hold up better than wood. I compared several options, and this one sold me based on wood grain, reviews, & price point. It was semi-easy to assemble. I was needing a bed that didn’t creak. Wood creaks a lot. This doesn’t need a box spring and is (so far) not making a sound (yay!). It looks high end, and no one knows the difference. 9/10 rating.
This is a solid and good looking bed frame . All the pieces were clearly marked and I was able to assemble it myself. The finished product is very attractive and looks great with the mattress and comforter set I selected. The price was surprisingly inexpensive for the quality.
This was an amazing bed frame! I purchased these for both my sons and they absolution love them. It was super easy to set up with very clear instruction. I was able to set it up all by myself in about 30 min. The frame and the led lights are great quality. The lights are perfectly measured to fit the frame. The only thing I did not like was these adhesive strips that are there on the supports to keep the mattress from moving are not ideal. They make your sheets very sticky and when I lifted the mattress they came off. So I just ended up taking them off completely. So you would need to invest in something better to keep the mattress in place. Also each bed comes with their own remote to control the lights and if you have both bed in the same room it will control both lights at the same time so just be aware of that. There is also an app to control the lights but i haven't tested that out just yet. But all in all this has been the best purchase I've made 😀
*07/25 Update* Customer service reached out to me and offered great service to resolve any concerns. I can't speak for other folks experiences with this bed and setup, but can only speak on my own. I just saw another review that was titled "Don’t let past reviews fool you".....Well I outlined what my issues were with the instruction manual not outlining certain steps. I relayed this information to customer service and they went ahead and actually sent that information in. So who knows, maybe the instruction manual is fixed and others may not have the issues that I faced. After all, I was the first posted reviewer and had nothing to go off of. Nonetheless, I will update my overall rating from a 3 to 4 and that's all thanks to customer service doing an amazing job on reaching out! Initial Review Is the end product beautiful? Sure, it is. But no thanks to certain amount of lacking instructions. I know lift up beds usually have more pieces and require more work, but it's absolutely inexcusable to give a consumer a product in which the consumer needs to figure on certain steps if he/she is even using the right screws. The LED strip is a nice addition and they were thoughtful about including small plastic brackets to hold the LED strip in place. The charging outlet works as expected. It would've been nice if there was a USB-C port. Also, don't over tighten the separate metal frame that you attach into the wooden frame (one of the screws wouldn't come out anymore). This metal frame is the real pain in the rear to put together. You will move faster if you have two people working on it together. There is a piece that holds the sides of the metal frame together by putting inside the two pieces. This is not shown in the manual, but purely a guess. The guess ended up being right. This took about 5-6 hours. To be fair, I worked on it myself for about 3-4 hours and then had a second pair of hands to help. I don't believe this can be easily done with one person considering putting in the lift up mechanism (make sure you put your mattress on first, then one person must lift up the metal bed frame ans the other person has to crouch and go into the frame, lie down and attach the lift up mechanism to the frame). It's not that hard once you figure it out, but still not shown clearly in the instruction manual). I was going to give this 2 stars, but after a solid night of sleep on this bed, organizing some items underneath the bed, and the overall look - I gave it 3 stars. It has the potential to be 4-5 stars if it included everything clearly in the manual + USB-C port + less time to make. This was not an easy job by any means.
We like the bed(s). However, The assembly process is LONG. We spent about 20 man hours putting them together ( 2 beds ). Negative things are the sides are very near the floor. When walking up to the bed, our feet always hit the side pieces. This is quite annoying and painful. One of the light strips is damaged. Would not recommend this bed.
This will be a multiphase review. Part 1: Receiving, unboxing, assembly. The frame was delivered on the day it was expected, no delays there. Outer box was open on one end, but it’s double boxed. It is definitely heavy and bulky, but I was able to get it inside and to my room without assistance, and I’m a 40-something woman who doesn’t lift weights or do CrossFit. If you have to navigate stairs, you will definitely need a small army of volunteers. Unboxing was a bit of a pain due to the aforementioned double boxing. I did not find any damage to the materials despite the rough handling from the delivery driver, so the double boxing did do its job of protecting everything well. Assembly was a cinch! Seriously, I don’t understand how anyone can complain about it. If you can count to 12, and match like numbers (1:1, 2:2, etc) you can put this bed frame together...by yourself. One tip, in case you aren’t very handy, when attaching the wood slats to the headboard, just get the bolts started on both sides before tightening them down. You will need a little play in the bolts on one end to get the bolts in the other end started, then tighten up the bolts alternating between the four on each board so you don’t strip them. It took less than an hour to get the frame together without help. Construction seems solid. I stopped short of installing the slats last night since it was late, I was tired, and I didn’t want my goober dogs thinking they could taste test the wood slats before I have a chance to get the mattress set up. :) Phase 2: Slat installation & sleeping comfort. The slats installed easily. I love the velcro strip that helps you space them right and holds them in place. I wrestled my mattress out of its box and onto the frame. Once it began inflating, I noticed it overhangs the frame at the foot of the bed by about 2 inches. Since I looked very carefully at frame dimensions before selecting a frame that was supposed to be about 1-1/2" longer than my mattress, this is a little disappointing. Since my mattress, at 12" covers most of the bottom wood headboard slat, I am contemplating removing it and sliding the mattress up a bit. I can always store the slat behind the frame and use it as a replacement if the other two are ever damaged. On the other hand, the slight overhang of the mattress will make stubbing my toe on the metal frame more difficult, so maybe I leave it as is. I am not tall enough to hang off the foot of the bed anyway, and I did not notice it have any impact on the feel of the mattress during the night. All in all, I would maybe take a 1/2 star off for that issue. Having spent one night on it, during which I took full advantage of having a new large King size bed, I never once heard a rattle or creak, even with my two 60-lb dogs leaping onto the bed and their tossing and turning through the night. The platform provided great support. I will update again later after an adequate "break-in" period.
I love my bed frame , it was the most inexpensive pink bed I could find and it turned out perfect .
Two parts of the bed got damaged during the shipping process. I sent pictures to the seller. They sent me the part replacement. The only reason I don't give 5 stars is because I had to buy a vertical board for protecting my mattress. I am not really to buy an expensive bed at this moment. For the price I paid for this one I think It is good enough.
Some of the edges didn’t line up prefect but not noticeable exactly like the picture I love it!
Bought for my 9 year old. Great quality for the price. Super easy to assemble. Lights and charge ports work. Took about 30 minutes total. Had to have a little help holding the drawers together to put the screws in. Overall great buy!
This company gets no stars. In fact they get less than the stars. They get negative stars. Don’t ever purchase anything from this company. Are much anticipated walnut trundle bed was a nightmare right from the beginning. The box was tore up from the floor up, but have you been well packaged on the inside? We didn’t think there would be nearly as much damage as there was And the damage that was done wasn’t from shipping. There were chunks missing out of the wood you would try to screw in one of the bolts and it would immediately crack this, fake ass press board bed, so cheaply made it was unreal and I don’t know how it could possibly hold a mattress let alone a mattress and a person without breaking. They were blue streaks all throughout the wood. There were no holes drilled where there were supposed to be holes drilled for the bolts to go through. They were missing pieces and pieces that had holes for pegs where they were supposed to be screws and holes for screws where there should’ve been pegs and no, it wasn’t that it was put together backwards. It was that they had drilled them backwards and then we were missing essential parts that prevented it from even being put together to completion, even though my daughter sat there and drilled new holes in the bed to try to make it work after doing research later on on this company, it was very, very disappointing to see the number of people that this particular company Mary has screwed over. We had no luck getting a hold of them no one ever answers. I wonder why that is do yourself a favor don’t ever buy from them. The final draw was figuring out that all of the slats that hold the mattress they’re supposed to be a hole drilled for you to screw the slats into the sideboard, but there are no holes for the screws to go into none not a single hole had been drilled now it’s not pictured below because those pictures don’t even do it justice because I wasn’t planning on posting them, but then changed my mind at the last minute. Maybe I’ll post some more later Like an update as we burn it in the parking lot cause that’s about all it’s good for as firewood. Besides them/were so skinny I was afraid to put that mattress on there, let alone put a mattress in a person on there. You go right through it. It was pressboard like thin pieces of plywood. They were glued together, and every single piece cracked the minute you put a bolt through it even though some of them were actually pre-drilled like I think five maybe of the holes possibly
Definitely a nice bedframe. We have had it a few months now and it doesn't have any scratches even though it's in a teen's room. The size is true to the description. It's very sturdy and was easy to put together. I like that it is higher off the ground because we can fit storage bins underneath it. It definitely functions for the use that we needed it for.
