Got this frame for a 19X11 (LxW) guest bedroom. The frames underbed storage was appealing because this "quaint" room lacks storage; besides a tiny closet. Which is fine for guests, but storage for clean sheets or random knickknacks is wanting. The metal frame, with no headboard and bowed wooden slats, is simple; classic. As I unpacked it, I was very pleased with how much care the manufacturer took to ensure nothing would get get damaged in transit. All peices are clearly labeled AND the manufacturer includes extra screws for any mishaps. (LOL) For the price & quality of materials, this is a reasonable bed frame. And upon completion, the draws are functional; even on carpet. So why do I find it lacking? The instructions for assembly were atrocious. Now, let me be clear here... this is NOT my first time putting together furniture with similar assembly directions. <> CONS <> ASSEMBLY: -> 100% JUST PICTURES; absolutely no written guidelines. ~~The pictures for assemble, repeate. [I understand WHY they did this, but the identical pics in THAT sequence, was illogical] -> UNCLEAR ORIENTATION: ~~ I originally assembled one part frame upside down, & another part backwards because there was no clear indicator that the "hook & Eye" (see pic) needed to face out. (Why out? See "pros") ~~ this caused me to have to disassemble everything & start over. <> PROS <> -> Quality materials: frame & hardware. -> Sturdy design: low noise when moving around, and actually pretty comfortable. -> Draws: underbed rollers to open & close actually work on carpet. AND the draws can be secured closed with a metal dowel that seats into the frame via a hook & eye.. Final thoughts: Would I recommend? >>Meh. Probably not. Would I buy again if I knew then what I know now? >>Mmmm-maybe... bc the quality is good. But because what should've took 1-2 hours took 3-4 (because of lack of clarity), I might've taken longer to research alternatives.
Despite saying a box spring is not needed in the heading (which was a key reason I bought it), this is not the case. My memory foam mattress will, I have discovered, not work with the metal slat arrangement on this bed; they are far too thin and far apart to give proper support, and when laying on it, the mattress pushes through the gaps, affecting support and the mattresses’s lifespan. A “bunkie” is needed to fix this problem, which run into the $100-ish range, if one wishes to remove the box spring mattress (or it breaks, as mine did). One cannot simply insert wood slats, as there is no ledge for them to rest on in the frame. I’m far outside the return window now (about six months), so returning it is not an option. Otherwise, the product was good quality and easy to assemble.
Well made bed but be prepared to spend some time putting it together. Instructions are easy to follow there are just alot of steps...26 to be exact. The box arrived destroyed on both ends. One end was completely ripped open and the plastic wrap torn. I was able to clean the dirty spot. If I hadn't been able to I would have returned it.
Our review would be a four, but we are disappointed as we were unable to put together one of the drawers, as you can see in the pictures, the bracket on the metal wire drawer (item #13 in the instructions) is welded at a 135 degree angle instead of 90, so the drawer won’t line up with the front panel. We contacted bargainbeddingusa.com support and they gave me an email to the seller for a solution, but they never responded to our email.
Perfect bed frame for our teenager! Seems to be sturdy quality, takes some time to assemble but simple process. The lights are what makes it stand out for sure. Like the steel support slats instead of wood ones. Highly Recommend!
We love this bed. I didn’t want the traditional day bed looking bed. This one is perfection. Our toddler was ready for an upgrade to a big bed and this fits the Bill for our older child and him to get to sleep together in the same room when they want to. He can get in and out very easily - perfect height. I have a 12” hyrbrid mattress on top (he’s used to plush mattresses) and an 8” plush foam mattress on bottom. Both twin sizes fit perfect and both kids say they’re comfortable. Since I went with a taller than suggested mattress on bottom , I just have to remove the comforter when I slide it back in - which I’m fine with for the more plush mattress on bottom. Sheets can stay on no problem. Bottom trundle glides very smooth on carpet. It’s a stand alone piece so it is not connected to the bed frame - which I like. All of the pieces came in good condition. The bottom trundle creaks when anyone gets on it so hopefully it holds up bc we love it!
Keep in mind this frame is not tall at all! It's quite small and close to the ground but, is perfect for my toddler! It was so quick and easy to put together and took about 10 to 15mins. The directions were easy to follow and it all was very straight forward. It looks very nice and is very sturdy. With the mattress on top it makes for a comfrotable bed. Very happy with this bed Frame in all aspects!
I bought this because a friend is coming over and it’s super nice. I definitely recommend it!!
This product is poorly constructed and finished.
So let me start by saying this was definitely nicer than expected. Materials are good quality, tolerances for gaps are very tight, and there are SEVERAL attention to detail type things that stood out to me during the instal (like the foam tape running down the middle support bar for the crossbars to sit on so the bed frame doesn’t make noise when you get on it). All in all, it’s a great purchase. But, there are a few things to be aware of. 1. Like a lot of reviews said, the “yellow” button on the remote does not produce a yellow light. It’s definitely green. But there IS a yellow color if you cycle through the colors manually (see the color in the picture). It’s actually a nice golden yellow, which is perfect. 2. The way the drawers lock in place isn’t great. Well, for me anyway. I have cats, and they can easily push the drawers out if they get under the bed. Might not be an issue once I put stuff in the drawers, but for now that’s probably the biggest negative for me. Definitely not a deal breaker though and it’s acceptable enough to just pop the drawers back in place occasionally. 3. The bed frame is definitely on the low end. It’s fairly short, but that’s exactly what I wanted since I have a fairly tall mattress. Still something to pay attention to though. All in all, great product for a reasonable price. If you’re okay with the things I pointed out above, then I highly recommend this.
I bought 2 twin size frames for my daughter room I already had the mattress one is a nova foam mattress which fits perfectly. I like that the color is not too light, material is fabric not velvet but looks like good quality. They were easy to assemble. I do believe I made a good value purchase for my money. I just need to get some cute comforters which I haven’t decided if I want same color or marching color and also some decor.

This is the best frame you can get for a really good price , was searching for a while for a twin bed frame at furniture stores but they were all way overpriced. The quality of this bed frame is good and seems very sturdy, my 4 year old loves it! Was really easy and simple to put together , You can't find a better frame for this price , recommend 100%!
My daughter absolutely loves this bed. Was easy to put together, all parts and pieces were accounted for and this is the first time we haven't had issues with a bed that came with LED lights. Highly recommended.
The bed overall was easy to put together, and I definitely like the style. However, I had three issues with the bed. 1st- one of the most important screws could not be screwed in because the hole wasn't threaded. I had to go buy a screw and bolt to secure the frame in place. 2. The light strip keeps falling off. For whatever reason mine is being pulled off the sticky strip itself. 3. It does not actually fit a queen size snug. Just bought a brand new queen sized matress and there's a decent amount od space left at the foot of the bed. This leaves an opening for things to fall onto the floor or into the drawers.
