It looks amazing and it’s very sturdy. Just follow the instructions but make sure not to tighten the screws on the frame all the way until fully complete. Note: The instructions are only visual, no wording. The frame had a slight dent but nothing major.
I'd give this 5 stars except for one thing, it is quite a bit bigger than our Full Size mattress. Maybe a few inches. So they bed slides around on the frame with my kids playing around on it or climbing up on it. Otherwise, I love the look of it. It's sturdy. I like having the extra space under the bed. It doesn't creak or make a lot of noise (something I was concerned about). It was pretty easy to assemble. I was able to do it by myself with no issues.
With 18” legs this a great inexpensive bed frame! Sturdy and all the plugs/ports work!
This bedframe honestly feels like it’s made for even bigger than a queen and our full-size mattress is sitting on it. All four sides of the bed frame are showing, and the corners of the bedframe are all just way further out than the mattress.
Over the last decade, I've bought lots of furniture online and reviews are everything so, shopper to online shopper, here's what I'd like to know before buying the Zinus Misty-- The bed is high quality and well designed. No one is going to believe what I paid for this bed. The fabric is thick and looks like a nice silk with just a little sheen. The tufting is the real deal with actual folds of fabric in the actual right spots. Most button tufting on lower end beds is more button dimpling-- a single sheet of fabric, button pushed through with some wrinkles around the indent. Real tufting requires more fabric, you start from the middle and fold and sew buttons as you go. It's more labor intensive, higher end and it shows. This is the real deal and it makes my decorator heart happy. The bed arrives in a big, single box that has 2 layers of cardboard and a plastic bag to protect the fabric. Yes, everything is zipped into the back which is why it's so heavy. Take out the slats first and it gets more manageable. If you empty the headboard and cart everything piece by piece, it's no problem for one person to take the headboard into the room. Once you get that heavy box into the house, it's a one person job. I cut the tape on the box and slide the headboard out standing upright with the plastic still on, then carefully lowered it face down onto a couple of throw blankets, then cut just the back of the plastic off to reach the zipper and unload the innerds. The bed goes together easily as long as you remember to loosen the bolts and don't tighten until the sides are in place. It took an hour with the included hex thingie and that included extra time because I did *not* loosen those bolts enough and played ring around the rosie several times to get it right. It's probably a 20-30 minute job if you remember the bit about those bolts. The slats on velcro are a marvel and took about 60 seconds to roll out. There's a really cool little hex ratchet tool included but I never used it. The legs are plastic but they're heavy duty and they don't show. If I were really picky, I'd just run up to a big box store and buy some wooden legs. If that's the only shortcut they took to get this bed to this price point, then thank you Zinus. The pictures show those lovely folded fabric button tufts and the beige color in lamplight against a wall painted in Sherwin Williams Wool Skein. The second pictures shows the bed with the mattress. For reference, that mattress is 8" and those bedside tables are 22". Measurements in the description are accurate and if you have a thick mattress or need a higher headboard, this may not be your best option. Personally, I love the lower profile and it really makes the room feel open. This is probably my favorite online furniture purchase ever. Thank you Zinus for providing a lovely, affordable upholstered bed :)
Bought this bed frame for our guest bedroom (mattress purchased separately also from bargainbeddingusa.com). The box was heavy but I moved it myself from the front door, down the stairs to our basement (wrapped it in a blanket and slid it down the stairs). Used my Milwaukee drill with the hex bit and had it assembled within an hour. Lots of extra screws; thought I’d missed a few steps but everything checked out. Very sturdy. Bought a 12” mattress (which I recommend because of the headboard height.
I'm giving this a 5 star because it was an easy transaction, the instructions were clear and the end item is clean and nice to look at. - That said, here's the scoop... - The full wrap around upholstery looks nice, it's not as thick as I had expected, the entire bed seems less luxurious than the main pic. There wasn't a real "wow factor" once assembled. The assembly and tools were much more that I bargained for. - The assembly process was clumsy, a poor over complicated design by the mfg. for a simple bed, however the instructions were crystal clear, so there's that. - I needed my own tools to make the job less of a struggle and save my fingers the pain of tuning a hex-wrench for more than 60 bolts. - ** Take a picture of the screw packet before you peel the back off or you'll spend a decent amount of time checking if you have the right bolt size. You'll thank me later. - All in all, a nice bed just not wow'ed with the appearance like the pictures.
Easy to assemble! Such a well thought out design. It is heavy metal. The frame is super sturdy and does not make any noise. Looks like I will have this frame for a long time.
Ameee mi habitación quedó espectacular me encanta
Photos added. We have had the product for 2 years now. We just got rid of it for another one in similar model but without the issue of this one. So. The first year we had this there were no problems whatsoever. Then we started to feel the middle of the bed dipping in, almost a sudden downward shift, this mainly happened if we shifted alot through the night. Now me and my wife are not heavy people. Us together is less than 400lbs. We didn't think much of it at first, I looked underneath the mattress, looked at the wooden boards that support the mattress, no issues found. About 2 months ago it was time to clean our sheets, when we lifted off the mattress I noticed some scratches in our floor boards. That is when I learned that the sudden dips were the middle pegs were curved sideways and pressed into my floor eveytime it dipped. It completely grooved and scratched my floor. Very easy to assemble and move. No long term sturdiness regarding the middle support beam.
We were a little hesitant to get this bed because there weren’t that many reviews but really glad we took a chance! We bought the KING sized bed frame in “black”. Pros: - Easy to build, between 2 people about 1-1.5 hours max depending if you stop to take breaks - the velvety material is soft and feels nice - the LED lights strip works and all of the pieces for the bed came in one box -no missing parts - not too heavy to move around once it’s built - NOISE FREE!! No creaking 🤭 - comes with 2 drawers at the front of the bed - the height is perfect where it feels like we’re not in the floor but also not climbing a mountain to get into bed (I’m 5’1 and my husband 5’6) -overall very sturdy once built Cons: - we picked the color black but it’s more of a blueish black not a pure black - the wood beams are sturdy but looks like it could break easily if mismanaged (once it’s built it’s fine) - there’s no extra metal beam towards the top base of the bed to secure it (once it’s fully built it is sturdy) -minor scratches on the silver/metal trim of the head board (we didn’t care but you might)
I love this bed. It wasn't hard to put together. With my glass of wine, l took my time and puff... done. $99.00 saved for labor. Mattress and boxspring
Easy to assemble, looks great. But it was a little damaged upon arrival.
This product is exactly as described. It's very good quality. Putting this thing together is probably not for everyone though.... I found the instructions pretty easy to follow, but it still took me a few hours to get done. It would have been a lot easier with two people, but I was able to do it solo. Keep in mind, it's meant more for a thin to medium thickness mattress. My mattress is very thick and heavy and it works, but you have to pull the mattress forward a bit to lift it up because it's too thick to recess into the opening in the headboard. With a bunch of blankets and stuff on my bed it's a little too heavy for the hydraulics to hold up. My wife has a hard time lifting it up. It wouldn't be hard to just order some heavier hydraulics to replace the ones that come with it. If this is something you're wanting to lift up and down a lot, keep the weight and thickness of your mattress in mind. Personally, I couldn't be happier with it, but I could see some people having some complaints.
I bought this for my 11 year old daughter who wanted to redo her room. After 2 weeks one of the legs in the middle of the frame cracked and completely broke off and the other leg started cracking as well. I had to get bricks to put under the frame to keep it from breaking apart. The legs underneath the bed are cracking as well and I will likely have to put something to support that as well. I didn’t expect the finest quality for the price but I’ve bout cheap beds from Walmart that have performed better. There is also a gab between the mattress and the headboard so a larger mattress would work better if you don’t want a gap.
