I can’t say enough good things about this headboard. Looks great, feels great, a breeze to assemble (compared to other assembly-required furniture)… But there’s something I haven’t seen any reviews mention: the packaging. This included foam and styrofoam blocks to help keep everything secure. And the styrofoam was sealed in plastic to prevent that obnoxious flaking you always get with “loose” styrofoam blocks. You’re forever vacuuming and picking those little white balls off everything. But not with this bed. I know it seems melodramatic to spend more characters on this than the bed itself, but it really does speak to the priorities of this manufacturer. It’s not a chintzy brand that will pack the styrofoam packing in its own protective packaging. And yet this bed was more than affordable. Back to the bed. It feels very sturdy, and although the headboard is light and not a solid hunk of wood, it doesn’t feel “cheap” like more lackluster reviews have suggested. I love that the headboard’s height is adjustable, meaning that while I’m still using my thinner 8” mattress, I can use the higher option for the headboard and throw my box springs under my mattress. In a year or so when I upgrade my mattress to a thicker 10-12” masterpiece, I’ll remove the box springs and lower the headboard. My roommate and I put this together in about 20 minutes. If I’d been at it alone, it would’ve taken us me about an hour (don’t judge). Impressive bed, impressive packaging, impressive price. Don’t hesitate, just buy.
I bought this bed frame for a new 14" memory foam mattress. I must say that I am very happy with the purchase and I am extremely impressed with the quality of the product. The delivery was a few days faster than original estimate - it's like receiving an unexpected gift! The box seemed to be opened previously as evidenced by the extra packing tape around the edges and upon opening the box, I found that the tie wraps that bind the slats together were cut at one end (there are two bundles of slats and both tie wraps were cut). This originally worried me a bit. However, upon inspecting the rest of the contents, I got convinced all was still well. There was nothing missing, every part was individually wrapped, the hardware was present and still in original packaging without damage and even the padding around the metal parts were in place. The instructions say it's a two person job but I was able to finish the whole task in less than 30 mins, including the unpacking, and the assembly. {Tip to one-person DIY'ers} The box is heavy (good because it's a sturdy unit) so don't try to lift or move on your own. I cut the packing tape with a box cutter along the long edge and both ends. This allowed me to remove each metal bar one by one and set up in my living room for easy assembly. The pieces went together very easily. I was impressed how everything fit well without any forcing, every one of the bolt holes lined up perfectly which allowed manual insertion and tightening of bolts. {Tip to one-person DIY'ers} The end pieces with the legs are free-standing after assembly, so once you stand them upright, attaching the side long bars by myself was very easy. There were some nice touches too: The bolts had all the washers and split washers already installed, they even provided a mini ratchet for the hex bolts. All the parts had numbers on them and each joint had the same number so matching parts to one another was super simple. The wood slats were in two bundles and attached to each other with velcro which made placing them evenly on the frame very easy - no guess work or measurement required. They even included a sticky tape on two of the slats (already installed) to prevent the mattress from slipping. Final nice touch was that there are bolt slots for the end pieces at one end. The holes lined up perfectly with the holes on my existing headboard. I found a couple of long bolts in my tool box. I am extremely happy with this purchase and very impressed with the quality of the product. I like it better than the slightly cheaper model from the same brand which has bars at the bottom too. This design with the legs makes it look more elegant and makes it easy to clean underneath with vacuum or sweeper.
Perfect functional trundle daybed with cute lights and charging outlet! Easy assembly did alone (woman!) Feels study and comes with clamps to hold 2 beds together when fully extended!
I honestly almost want to put 4 stars for how easy this bed was to put together. I mean, it was INSANELY simple. Probably my best experience building furniture ever. Sadly the color is definitely not accurate. The color is kind of way off, a deeper velvet magenta pink. I mean hey, it’s a good color, but I wanted a bubblegum pastel pink to fit the rest of the items in my room. It’s now going to contrast my more bright pink blankets. The stitchings also aren’t similar nor the volume and thickness of certain parts of the bed. See for yourself.
It was not what I saw when I purchased the bed the led lights did not come with the plug
I put the bed up by myself and it took about two hours in total. The most difficult part was the platform if you don't have two people because of the way you have to line it up. Everything was there and it's been a benefit to keep her in her room throughout the night. Then only part is there was a piece of metal sticking out from one of the loop parts on the headboard. I'm glad I caught it and she didn't get cut from it. Other than that I would give it a five star.
This is amazing great quality. My old bed was from wayfair priced higher and was not good at all. The metal frames did it for me. Easy to assemble but took long. Love it.
Hands down. Amazing. Love it. No complaints. It’s steel. Perfect. Five outta five. Easy build(with two people). Built within 45min. The way it’s built I know this will hold for a long time. Thank you bargainbeddingusa.com basics. Will definitely look into more of your items :)
What a great purchase! Came well packaged, no scratches, dents, or missing parts. Took about 1.5 hours to put together no extra tools needed. It’s very sturdy!!
The bed is poorly manufactured. One leg of the headboard tilts inward and caused it to be difficult or impossible to make screw holes meet when there were any to meet. We had to buy extra washers and a drill bit to drill a hole to make it work at all. The footboard legs are plastic junk. The wood slats are rough wood-get a bunkie board or box spring or they will rip up your mattress...wear gloves when assembling or they will cut your hands. Some slats were just shy of too long to reach side to side and some barely made it...one did not completely cover the support on the side rail so could not be appropriately screwed into place. In many places, the wood is scored or marked looking almost as if the wood was going to split in those spots. The bed frame (full size) appears to actually be larger than a full size as one can see in pictures provided that the mattress (full size) does not fill the box frame. Absolute waste of money. I'd return it--if it wouldn't cost me more time, energy, and effort to take the whole thing apart and re-pack all the parts and ship back to the seller, which I imagine they count on. NEVER again will I buy a bed online! Absolutely disgusted with the complete lack of quality.
My 5 y/o absolutely loves her bed. It is very sturdy and neat and I expect her to continue to find it comfortable for the next few years. I wish it was higher off the ground, but I guess the height is for safety reasons for younger children. Setting up the bed was fairly straightforward and required dedicated time as expected, although one key part was labelled incorrectly causing delay during setup. Overall I think the bed is a good option for the price...I have no regrets.
I love this! Super easy putting it together, came with everything plus tools that’s always a plus🩷
I was a little hesitant to purchase this bed frame since it's on the more expensive side and had few reviews, but I'm very happy with it! The color is a rich caramel that looks elegant and adds warmth to the room. The instructions were very clear, and assembly was surprisingly simple - two of us had it fully built in about 45 minutes. The construction feels solid and sturdy. One of my favorite details is the slats - they attach with velcro and line up perfectly, which I was very impressed by. It made the whole process quick and keeps the mattress from sliding. I honestly don’t have anything negative to say. It’s a well-made, beautiful bed frame that I’d recommend to anyone! The nightstands pictured are the "Bme Oliver Solid Wood Rattan Nightstand"s on bargainbeddingusa.com - the color isn't *exactly* the same, but close enough!
I really love this bed. It wasn’t difficult to assemble, except some instructions (which are solely pictures of how to maneuver pieces) definitely should have been broken up instead of showing 3 steps in one. My advice, split up the work in two days, first day lay out then group together the pieces that will be combined and look through the instructions, second day assemble. Took me about 7 hours alone. Also the bed appears to be tall and bulky but in person, it looks to be petite? But again I love it, it’s sturdy and quite.
