A friend and I assembled the Max and Lily double bunk and two triple bunks, all of which are identical in their part numbers and assembly process. The double bunk was top quality and easy to assemble, but the triples, although clearly the same in their parts and assembly, were not nearly the same quality, so beware the newer version of the double bunk may not be as high quality as the one I received. The directions are easy to follow if you pay close attention to detail. However, we assembled them in a different order so that we weren't trying to lift a completed bed into the air while fitting the legs onto the metal rods that connect it to the lower bunk. Instead, we assembled the top bunk in its place, on top of the lower bunk. We started by assembling all of the headboards/footboards. Each bunk is slightly different, so be sure to keep the pairs together. Then we connected the bottom bunk head and foot boards with the 2 long boards that hold the slats. We pushed the bolts in all the way to help hold up the long boards, then pulled the bolts out one at a time to screw them into the nut, using an impact driver. We fully tightened every bolt at each step. We stopped there, skipped some pages, and inserted the 5" metal rods into the tops of the legs, and put the top bunk's head and foot boards on those metal rods, on top of the bottom bunk. Then we attached both back guard rails at the same time by first hammering the dowels into the head/footboards with a rubber mallet and then guiding the holes in the ends of the boards onto the dowels sticking out. Then we attached the boards that hold up the slats, again pushing in all of the bolts to help hold it in place while we removed one at a time to screw the bolt into the nut. Then we attached the steel bar on the top bunk. Then the slats. Then the front guard rails. And finally the ladder. The double bunk took us 3.5 hours because we took our time to fully understand the directions and to sort all of the nuts and bolts into different bowls. I highly recommend using an impact driver--you can see in the pictures how tight we got the bolts. The beds are sturdy and beautiful. I bought 6' foam pipe covers and cut them in half lengthwise and duct taped them to the underside of the steel bar to keep the children from bumping their heads. I paid more for the Max and Lily bunk mattresses and glad I did--they are high quality and a perfect fit. Can't wait for my grandkids to come visit!
My husband put this together by himself to surprise me—he got almost all the way done and realized a part was on backwards and had to completely start over basically lol. He was a good sport about it and it came together quickly after that. The lights work perfect and as described—we even found a matching night stand to go with it here on bargainbeddingusa.com! It seems pretty sturdy too. But be careful putting things on the shelving areas if you plan to do “play around” in bed—they will fall on your head lol speaking from experience. Don’t worry it was just a minor concussion he got and he’s back to normal now lol Great product! Worth the money! Stop reading and add to cart now! Lol
The frame was easy to put together and is very sturdy. The mattress originally could slide a little but I bought some non slip mattress gaskets and the issue was solved. Size is good for someone under six feet.
My son loves his bed. Happy that the LEDS actually work and with the remote. Instructions were ok I messed up a few times that’s on me😲 it doesn’t really give floating to me, I guess it’s your perception. But the bed looks nice. It’s durable. Everything was nice quality but the leather but I wasn’t disappointed where it split bc you can’t see it. It isn’t leveling properly even with the screws to level. Once we found the perfect place for the bed near an outlet there was no other reason to move it. I would definitely recommend 2or more ppl at least for the headboard but 2 would wrk. Did come w/ tools needed to build . I do recommend a drill. Also came with many extra pieces of hardware. If you wanted to replace LED the build makes it easy. Functions as described fair quality for price. Would buy again as a gift
i like this bed, it was really easy to put together but it looked like it was used or something bc it was dirty on the white headboard part not a big deal but the box was also badly damaged it came in so i’m not sure
We have a bed that requires a boxspring. We bought the boxspring. Our mattress is fine on a platform bed. When we put the two together it made the bed so high it was like you needed to take a running start to get on the bed!:). The bed was comfortable but it really looked funny and my bedspread didn’t quite fit and it looked like I needed a bedskirt. Thought well maybe bargainbeddingusa.com has something and well it sure did. It arrived very quickly and we put it together and Vilà. We have a normal size bed and it looks great. Easy to assemble. Super sturdy and fits perfectly inside bed frame.

Bed seems sturdy but as we were unpacking it, we noticed that the “headboard” has paint that’s already chipped. Seems like the paint is very cheap. I would rather return it but just the thought of how difficult it will be to repack everything is stopping us from doing it. Wonder if the seller would be willing to replace that part. Also, I still haven’t unpacked every piece so not sure if there is going to be more poorly painted parts. ***Update! The from part of the bed is also chipped and has dents. So disappointed, but I figure it’s what we get for the price.

Oh wow I thought I made this review a long time ago Sorry for the delay It’s was easy to assemble all the hardware is included with frame. It took me about 30 minutes to assemble it and put mattress on it. The hight for storage is 11-1/2 inch clearance to floor. I have one side plum full and other side empty waiting to be filled up that’s the reason behind getting this bed frame. Cause of the storage I have a small bedroom and lack of storage is a problem I have. But not anymore. The frame is made of 1x2 inch rectangular steel and welded corners bracket and T connectors are welded. The screws nuts and tools are all provided with this bed frame. To assemble it I highly recommend this bed frame
Received a long box, nice looking light gray, very easy to install, I installed it with my 13 year old son, he was happy like he was spelling his lego. It's sturdy and has two large drawers for storage. It's worth buying
