Although the box was damaged when product arrived, everything was intact and nothing was broken. Directions are very easy to understand. It did take a few hours to put together, but all pieces were accounted for, and there were even extra screws, etc. The only reason I’m not giving this five stars is because of the color. I have white trim in my bedroom and the bed looked yellow, which was unexpected. You can see from the screw hole cover tabs that it has a very yellowish hue. Would have preferred to order a different color, but was unable to stop my shipment in time before delivery. Appears to be very sturdy bed. I ended up painting the bed and really like it.

Dark brown is not as pictured—it’s truly a dark brown and not as light as it looks in the bargainbeddingusa.com photo. (See my photos—take in sunlight.) It took about 2 hours to put together, fairly easy to follow instructions. As someone else noted, there is a slight gap in the right side of headboard, but it doesn’t bother my kiddo—so I’m not too upset.

Bought this full size bed for our preschool-aged son who grew out of his toddler bed. It was relatively easy to assemble. I think it looks really great in his room. I love all the storage space. We opted for a bed with storage drawers since we didn't want a big dresser taking up space in the room (the rest of his clothes fit comfortably in his closet). My only issue is that the green and yellow LED light functions do not work (red, blue and purple still work) or else I would've given this product five stars.

I have bought 3 bed frames now from this company and all 3 have had issues and needed to be returned. The first item shipped without any slats, and the other two shipped with 4 sets of slats that only reach half the width of the bed (for Queen size the slats are supposed to be the full width of the bed, the middle support is not meant to secure short slats). This would all be much less of an issue if Mellow was able to send replacement parts (which they can’t) or if the bed frame was a standard Queen size therefore compatible with general packs of slats (it’s not a standard length, in fact for a queen mattress [60” wide] the frame needs slats that are 57.5” as the frame is slightly short of the bed width). Mellow’s customer support was responsive but not helpful, since they can’t see order info from bargainbeddingusa.com purchases and can’t send replacement parts at all. Tbh very inefficient way to run a company if the customer has to return and re-purchase the entire product just to replace one part. Luckily, bargainbeddingusa.com has been super helpful with returns and replacement orders! Unfortunately, they can’t make up for Mellow’s shortcomings and I’ve resorted to going to Home Depot to get wood planks that are the right size to be slats. If I hadn’t put the initial bed frame together, I would have just ordered from a different company. Avoid Mellow from the start if you don’t want issues and bad customer service!

I poured over reviews before making this purchase, so I thought I would try to leave a helpful review. I put 5 stars, but I haven’t slept on it yet. I wanted to comment on packaging, assembly, and quality. I purchased the daybed and trundle. Box was a bit damaged upon delivery and one piece had some tiny scratches. Better packaging would have kept pieces more secure (and probably prevent scratches) but all were included and in good condition. I was a bit worried, after reading reviews, about assembly but am pleased to say it went well. All pieces are clearly marked and directions were thorough. I am 50+ woman who was able to assemble it alone with the exception of attaching the sides to the back. My husband helped with managing that part, but I did the rest. It took me a little over 2 hours. Once the bed was assembled, I was happy with the look, quality, and stability. It seems to be a very good product for the price. I bought 2 8inch mattresses for top and trundle. 8 inches is probably the most you could do for the trundle and still have it fit under the daybed. I am very pleased, so far, with this purchase.

This was delivered in one long box. Well packed, easy to move and unpack. I’m surprised how easy the install was - parts well marked and the majority of it was put together with two bolt sizes. Everything aligned. It’s way sturdier than I expected… works great for my toddler.

This is a really nice bed frame and headboard in one. The parts are all well organized with the necessary tools included (two Allen keys, a screwdriver and a wrench). I had no difficulty assembling it but always be mindful of which part goes on the left and the right before starting (read the first page of assembly instructions carefully before beginning as the left/right are easily confusable otherwise). One note is that the two screws to mount the power strip do not have predrills on the board and the screwdriver included has a fat head so I recommend predrilling the holes with a drill bit to make it easier. The frame includes 10 slats with additional inserts to ensure security and with this there is no need for a box spring. The LED strip runs nicely inside a groove which eliminates the need for adhesive, and is bright with many adjustments from the remote. It can create a soft ambient for reading or light up the room for a party! The top strip includes two outlets, a standard USB and a USB-C port which makes it perfect for phone chargers and any USB accessory. The LED strip cleverly has its own USB plug underneath to not use up valuable space on the top and to look more attractive.

This frame was so incredibly easy to put together and if you're someone that moves around a lot, it will be super easy to take apart as well. It's super sturdy. I'm a severely overweight person. Wooden frames make me nervous and those easy fold ones you can get at places like Walmart bend and snap easily. This frame definitely feels like it can support my weight and is going to last me a long time and won't bend or snap, but if it ever does I'll update this review! It's very short, but still has a good amount of storage space underneath. I bought this specifically because I plan on getting the soft frame that slides over this type of frame. If you don't plan on doing that I suggest being very careful. That bottom bar will be a problem eventually, I've had it together 10 minutes and already decided to name it the toe destroyer 5000. Overall it's a super cute and practical frame, it's sturdy, and it is a great value. Definitely recommend!

I love the bed frame but there is a part of it that came squished and won’t return to form. You can grab the pieces during assembly just fine without doing that, so idk. But overall the frame is really cute though. Not worth the hassle of returning the frame, just wish I didn’t have to pay full price.

Overall easy to put together if your handy. It's metal and cheap price so don't expect high end. Once assembled pretty sturdy. Recommend thick mattress not thin. Came packaged well, with instructions and basic assembly tools.

I love this bed the only thing is that it is low. So you’ll need a box spring or buy 12in mattress. Good quality.
