   Surprisingly sturdy for the cost, shipped in one box with virtually no damage. Bed frame as described (size, material, color, etc). Assembly in less than 1.5hrs and the hardware includes an allen key, ratcheting allen key as well as a rubber mallet!

   I wish I could personally thank the people at Zinus for our new bed frame. But a lengthy positive review will have to do! I first a lot of research and thought into buying my first bed frame and eventually decided on this one. First off, I am beyond overjoyed by the quality and sturdiness. It’s always been my dream to own a 4 poster bedrame and now I can dream IN one. The instructions were very clear and direct with easy-to-follow steps with PICTURES. My husband and I actually had FUN putting everything together. This bed frame is perfect for our personal style and for our rambunctious children to jump around in. The delivery speed and secure packaging was absolutely above and beyond. I love that the tools needed (Mallet and ratchet) were included. Everything was perfect for the price/quality ratio.    We have 3 houses and all 3 have a metal platform bed of some sort in at least one bedroom. One house is an Airbnb and we have already replaced the metal bed with a wood one due to larger guests. This bed was ordered for our New Orleans vacation condo and I wanted a canopy for privacy (you can pull the curtains if someone is crashing in the living room. This bed is STURDY and designed much better than anything we have purchased. The slats don’r go all the way across which is better engineering for the high stress points in the middle of the bed. It was very easy to do and went together in about 40 mins or less. Its tough but light weight enough for me to move around in the room before we put the mattress on. And it looks great. Delivered timely and comes with a cute mallet which was useful for tapping the lids on paint cans to close them. Just buy it!

   Bought this bed when I was completely redoing my bedroom. It was super easy to assemble and comes with really nice tools that I saved. Even though it’s the same size bed I had before, it has such a slim build that I have tons of extra space! So if you had a bulky four-poster like I did, this is a great swap! My house bedrooms are tiny, and I was worried it wouldn’t look good, but I really like it so far! The picture attached was taken right after I finished putting it all together in an empty room (minus dresser) so you can see how it will look in a very small bedroom. I’ve been using it for about a month now and have no complaints. No squeaking, no instability, it’s been great! I only have 2 drawbacks to add: While the parts have numbers on connections to show what step they are in the book and what goes together, which is great and I’ve never seen before, the parts themselves don’t have labels to identify them. So you gotta grab them all and flip them around until you find the matching numbers. This is just a mistake I made but wanted to add for anyone who may do something similar. I got a brand new memory foam mattress. They need to lay out and form over 24-72 hrs etc. i opened mine up and laid in on the bed, but the anti-slip tape was so good (first world problem, I know) that it held the fabric from the mattress and the corners didn’t expand and form properly. I still haven’t fixed this, so please don’t follow my mistake!!
