   I was a little hesitant to buy furniture from bargainbeddingusa.com, but I took a chance based on other people’s reviews and photos. Wow! I’m so glad I did–this bed is EXACTLY what I’ve been looking for. It’s simple, with clean lines and a lovely smooth finish, very minimalist and peaceful looking. And although it looked a little skimpy in the pictures of the measurements, it’s full size and my king mattress sits on it perfectly. The directions were very clear and all the parts fit beautifully (and it comes with this great little ratchet). It feels solid and quiet when you sleep on it, even though I did not expose the sticky tape on the slats because I like to rotate my mattress frequently. And at this price, if it only lasts a few years I’ll still be happy. Highly recommend!

   It sits really low so I don’t think I would like they way it looked if a box spring were on it. Also, it looks very much like it can be assembled in an hour, but it’s a bit nicer than some other options at this price point. I don’t like the big creases in the middle of the wood but I guess that’s just what happens when something has to be flat packed. It also comes with glue strips pre attached and they are certainly very sticky! It helps the mattress not to slide around. My biggest complaint is the horrible chemical smell. Hopefully it will fade in time.

   The wood frame itself has a nice appearance and the directions are easy to understand. Pieces may be labeled with different numbers that attach together, which makes construction simple and is not something I’ve seen before in DIY furniture. The slats are 2.5” and adhere with Velcro. There are two adhesive, anti-slip strips, which could possibly cause superficial damage to a mattress that needs to be flipped. I am rating 3 stars due to the atrocious hardware that came with the piece. The screws/bolts strip with minimal pressure (I am a 5’5” female and I stripped nearly all of them with hand pressure). The ratchet is the worst tool I’ve ever used — use your own or the hex key provided. I was expecting more support for the slats than Velcro. If you have the ability to purchase your own screws/bolts, I would tremendously recommend it.

   It takes a bit to put together but it is easy over all. It holds up to a 250lb person just fine. It isn’t a very heavy frame. The mattress fit perfectly. It has enough room underneath to store various bins. Overall it is a sturdy frame that functions just as i hoped.

    I went searching and searching for a bed frame on a budget. Took quite some time to find one that seemed decent. I read many reviews good and bad. I ultimately decided to test this one out. Some reviews complained about the time it took to assembly and that it was difficult. It wasn’t for me. I did it by myself in an hour and a half because I was watching a movie while I was doing it. It’s fairly comfortable and looks great in the room. Everything fit together nicely and is super solid. I would highly recommend getting a wood board or something of that nature just to provide extra support if needed and to make sure your mattress doesn’t deform over time. The states are positioned just far apart to where it could be an issue after a while. So overall great purchase, easy setup, quality material that doesn’t feel weak, budget friendly, looks great, and no issues to report.
