   Update: After some back and forth (and after I submitted a review similar to the one below to Zinus’ website) Zinus has contacted me and said they are going to send a replacement part. I’ll update more fully when it arrives. — I bought this bed in late January 2020. It has worked out OK, except for a couple of occasions when it wobbled in a way that made me nervous and I had to remove the mattress and bedding and tighten all the screws. Can’t say whether that part was my fault or the manufacturer’s but it was definitely concerning. On New Year’s Day of this year, I sprained my ankle. A few days later, while getting out of bed (admittedly moving a bit awkwardly as I had my foot propped up on pillows, etc.) I broke part of the side rail in a way that exposed the bolt that attached to the headboard, as well as the dowel nut holding that bolt in place. I didn’t want to glue the hardware in place, and didn’t have it in me to attempt a more ambitious repair as I could barely walk at the time and was in a lot of pain. I ended up reattaching the broken piece with duct tape; amazingly, the bed has held together well enough for me to sleep on, though the headboard still wobbles when I put pressure on it. Last week I navigated to Zinus’ website – I actually wrote them asking if they had any advice about how to repair the bed, a message that was never answered or acknowledged. But right after I sent that note I discovered that the bed frame was covered by a 5-year warranty. I realized that while the warranty had just expired on Jan. 28, my bed *was* under warranty when it broke. However, I was not keen on the idea of replacing the whole *bed* (for several reasons, one being that I remember how heavy the box was originally) – I just wanted a new side rail. (I figure replacing it is going to be safer than trying to reattach the broken wood and fill the holes.) So I contacted customer service and asked if it would be possible to replace just the side rail under warranty. They said yes, and opened a warranty claim. The warranty claim was rejected because it was filed Feb. 13 and the warranty expired Jan. 28. My claim included a time stamped photo showing that the bed was damaged Jan. 5. (Their response included sending me a link to the warranty policy which incidentally *does not specify when a claim should be filed*.) That was frustrating, but I can accept it; ultimately it’s a question of the spirit of the law versus the letter of the law and I’m not surprised that the company and I are on different sides of it. A five-year warranty seems fairly unusual, especially for inexpensive flatpack furniture, which is part of why I didn’t think to check on that when the damage happened (well, that and the fact that I was in the acute phases of recovery from my injury and thus in excruciating pain! but whatever). What bothers me me quite a bit more is that in the same email where they denied my claim, Zinus also refused to *sell* me a replacement part, saying the parts aren’t priced individually. So, had I had the presence of mind to log into the website *three weeks earlier*, I could have gotten a replacement side rail *for free*, suggesting Zinus has the capacity to package and ship individual parts to customers. But if I wanted to *pay* for the same part, I was out of luck. In my response I pointed out to Zinus that their website lists sustainability as one of the company’s core values, but not offering replacement parts – or any other support for customers needing to do repairs – ensures a lot of their products will end up in the landfill after a relatively short period of use. I realize that’s the norm for a lot of furniture at this price point (and a lot of consumer goods generally), but it’s still very disappointing.

   We purchased this bed in a king size a few years ago and are so pleased that we purchased a queen for our new guest bedroom. The bed is durable, looks amazing and was sooo easy to put together. We coupled it with a Molblly queen mattress … now we just need guests!

   This is a fantastic bed frame with headboard. I just moved into my new townhome, and was needing to furnish my guest room. Very easy to assemble, as long as one pays attention to the numbered stickers that were conveniently placed on the various parts. It took me about 45 minutes to assemble by myself, but I had the center support bar upside down and had to flip it around (rubber side up). Had I been a bit more mindful in the assembly process, I’d have had put it together a bit more quickly. Other than that slight hiccup, it was a smooth experience. The box itself is heavy, but other than the weight, it was an easy job for one person. The bed frame itself, looks great and is exceptionally solid. No creaking or wobble whatsoever. I’d definitely recommend this bed frame if you are looking for a reasonably priced, easy to assemble, wood bed frame and headboard that is both stylish, and sturdy.

   This bed frame was SO easy to put together, took me under an hour to get everything unpacked and put together. The pieces are well labeled, the instructions are easy to follow and the pieces are light but very well made. Some of the features I really liked was the slats that act as the box spring actually velcro to the bed frame so you don’t have them moving around or falling through like other beds. This is so smart and defintiley one of the highlights that made me so satisfied with this purchase. On the top of these slats there is two long sticky pads which holds the mattress in place so it doesn’t move around either. The bed frame is ridiculously sturdy, I’m talking like not even moving an cm let alone banging against a wall or creaking. I was also really impressed with the quality and colour of the wood. After reading some reviews some said it wasn’t true to the picture but I disagree I think it was just what I expected. If you’re looking for a wood bedframe wayfair’s prices are upwards of 700$ and after comparing nearly every site from jysk, to ikea, to wayfair and overstock this was defintiley the cheapest wood frame for its style. Its lived up to all my expectations and I am so thrilled with it. The only thing I would want someone else to know is that if you have a really thick mattress alot of the headboard will be covered by it.

   To start, this bed was packaged SO WELL. I was very impressed with the care and protection in the packaging. Assembly was very simple and straightforward. There was even a YouTube video linked which I found helpful. I was able to put it together all by myself as well. They included extra screws and a ratchet tool that makes tightening screws so easy, especially if you’re not super strong in your hands like me. The bed is sturdy and looks beautiful in my room, I’m really happy with it! This is my second Zinus bed, I had a metal one before with no headboard and loved that one as well. My one recommendation would be DO NOT remove the stickers on the wooden slats to stick your mattress to it. It will stick very well and tear the bottom of your mattress when you’re ready to get a new frame. But if it’s your forever frame or you don’t care about the mattress too much the non slip feature is nice!

   It’s the third time I purchase Zinus bed frame and I really like this wood one. Solid and easy to put together, just one hour all by myself. Minor imperfections but acceptable (see pictures). I read horror reviews on those with similar price range that are found on Wayfair with 1000 pieces of screws and parts to put together but not this one. Happy with my purchase and will recommend!

   All the parts and tools need are included, the instructions are clear, and I was able to put the bed together by myself. Handsome and solidly engineered. They even provided extra bolts just in case. Two things to note: 1) one of the two double-sided tapes to help hold the mattress in place came off the bed while I was removing the backing tape. I just used some double-sided tape I had on hand and all is well. 2) One of the easiest parts of assembly should be laying down the slats. And it is easy so long as you ROLL them out, velcro side down. I’ll probably add some wood buttons to cover a few of the bolt holes, but that is it. This is a great value and a solidly built product.
