   I was skeptical to buy a metal frame as I was not sure with the sturdiness and if they become squeaky. Assembly I would say would be easy for others than me (poor DIY skills). Mainly two of us did in 2 hours, the bed is super sturdy and no squeaks on changing position. Looks lovely in my guest room, Have only used for few days, Will update again after long term use.    So first of all, the bed itself is really pretty but it came with lots of defects and there is actually way more but I just gave up taking pictures bc it was ridiculous. In person the stains look sooo much worse. And it’s also squeaky and not very sturdy. Maybe I got a bad one idk but the quality was so bad. My little sister cried and insisted on keeping it and bc she’s small and not heavy we decided it was fine but i don’t believe it can hold up to 400lbs. And let’s not even talk about the shipping and how it got delivered to the wrong place and they were claiming them didn’t receive anything lol. The rusty parts are all over the head of the bed so it’s very noticeable but we will cover them with decorations!

   I was able to put this together by myself. I do recommend waiting to put together the side rails until after they are attached to the headboard and footboard as it was very difficult to put together as instructed. I did contact the company about the middle feet not touching the ground and it is evidently this way by design. It seems like a solid bed, does not make any noise, and looks good.

    I poured over reviews before making this purchase, so I thought I would try to leave a helpful review. I put 5 stars, but I haven’t slept on it yet. I wanted to comment on packaging, assembly, and quality. I purchased the daybed and trundle. Box was a bit damaged upon delivery and one piece had some tiny scratches. Better packaging would have kept pieces more secure (and probably prevent scratches) but all were included and in good condition. I was a bit worried, after reading reviews, about assembly but am pleased to say it went well. All pieces are clearly marked and directions were thorough. I am 50+ woman who was able to assemble it alone with the exception of attaching the sides to the back. My husband helped with managing that part, but I did the rest. It took me a little over 2 hours. Once the bed was assembled, I was happy with the look, quality, and stability. It seems to be a very good product for the price. I bought 2 8inch mattresses for top and trundle. 8 inches is probably the most you could do for the trundle and still have it fit under the daybed. I am very pleased, so far, with this purchase.

    Very cute, a little low to the ground. Really easy to put together. Just as expected. This bed is definitely made for a toddler, not a grown person even if they are small. If you haven’t put DHP furniture together before a tip to avoid holes mismatching is, keep the screws very lose so they slide or wiggle. Finish putting the bed together, then go back and tighten them. Or you might have the ends of the bed swapped if the holes still don’t match. It does matter. It’s a really cute bed for the price but the other reviews are correct that the support bar could not support jumping or an adult. I do lay on it with my daughter to read her bedtime stories and it hasn’t bent, but we are not rough on the bed in any way like jumping or bouncing. I have had this bed for about a month and I’m still happy with the purchase. My only complaint is that the metal designs on the bed are not smooth and you can see it is just metal folded over metal. I thought that part of fabrication could have been better.

    THE CONS: I would say the most difficult part about building this bed frame was attaching the main bottom frame to the head and footboard. It is completely my fault for doing it alone, I highly recommend two people to help, but it did take around 4 hours for me (a 23 y.o. 120lb. woman) to complete by myself. This is not necessarily a con, but it’s worth saying it wasn’t easy to build. Now… to the important part! THE PROS…the quality of the frame once everything is complete and the bed is in place is wonderful. – No squeaking when bouncing around. – Very gentle on hardwood floors. – No scratches or scuffs on any of the materials (all of the materials were sealed in plastic bags). IMPORTANT NOTE!! So it looks like (possibly based on previous reviews of the middle support leg buckling) the company added a new bracket as well as spring screws – whatever those are – and washers. There was a printed page included on top of the instruction manual packet, make sure to use this sheet for the specific step rather than what’s in the actual packet. Overall, highly recommend lmao Thanks for reading 🙂

    My daughter loved this bed. It’s very pretty and secure. The only problem I had was, the bolts didn’t always line up and being a woman i couldn’t adjust it on my own, I had to pay my handyman. It was worth it when I seen how happy my daughter was. I loved that they had a whole section of extra parts, and that there is plenty of room to put things in boxes under the bed.

    This is a nice bed for a little girl (twin size). I put it together in about 45 min. and only needed assistance on one part with a stubborn slat that supports the mattress. Other than that, it was a smooth assembly. I set the bed up on the highest level since there are two height choices which is nice. There were a few minor defects (small paint chipping and two small dents) but I think that could easily happen with metal frames and were not terribly noticeable. On more of an annoying note: there were dirty spots on the frame with smudges as if the person packaging had dirty hands and didn’t wear gloves. Most of it cleaned up fine with soap and water but was a little disappointing when opening a brand new package. The bed was packaged very well and all parts were there. I can not speak for the longevity of the frame since I just set it up but it held my husband, 7 year old, and 5 year old fine. I would not recommend any kind of bouncing though. A standard 5 inch twin mattress fits well on it… no box spring needed. My 5 year old daughter loves her new big girl bed!
