    I was very conflicted about ordering this bed strictly for the shipping and hassle of return. Turns out it’s a very nice bed. I purchased it for an Air BNB but when I opened the box I decided to keep it for myself. It’s very sturdy. All the parts are made of metal including the slats. It’s engineered smartly with rubber backing on the feet and some of the parts to prevent squeeking and friction. Directions were clearly labeled. The kit came with a few extra parts and it was very easy to put together. I have a standard queen mattress at a 12″ depth and I think it works nicely. My mattress was already slightly firm but it feels slightly firmer now since it sits on metal slats instead of wood. It also does slide a little so it may not be for the “active” sleeper if you catch my drift. I’m very happy with the purchase and price. Oh and tons of storage space underneath. The perfect bed to hide under.
