Bulky and heavy makes it awkward to assemble. The first one I got had holes that were too small for the screws. Could have filed them a little or used smaller screws and it would have worked but the company replaced the whole thing! Great to use with a twin size regular mattress if you don’t plan to take it down often. Air mattress would require something to keep it from sliding around but ok for the very occasional guest if you have storage space and you are strong enough to deal with the setup.

The Bed Frame was easy to assemble without tools and proved to be sturdy for normal use however it does make some creaking sounds especially when getting in and out of bed. The noise may be due at least in part to the fact that this bed frame does not have a cross bar bracing the middle legs.
