   This bed frame was incredibly easy to assemble with clear instructions and all the tools I needed. The frame is sturdy and I no longer need a box spring. At 14 inches off the ground there’s plenty of space to store my extra belongings and I can easily slide things in and out. I’ve had it for a few months now, and there are still zero squeaks! My only complaint is that the corners are a bit sharp, and I’ve stubbed my toes on it a few times. If the corners were rounded or if it came with corner pads, it would be perfect. Overall, this king size frame was an amazing steal for under $50!

   Update: a year later there are a few squeaks, but nothing serious. Tightened up the bolts and that made a minor improvement but didn’t take all the squeaks away.

   We just received the frame (king) yesterday. All pieces were included and it went together easily – it took a little less than half an hour. Simple tools were provided, but we needed to use our own tools (ratchet, rubber mallet) to finish the job up correctly. Slept on it last night, feels nice and solid, no squeaking. LOVE the storage underneath. It was well packed, but there were a few scratches that are not especially visible. Because we already had it, we put plywood on top of the slats for extra support.

   I love the platform beds for many reasons…. The #1 reason is no more box spring needed… They are easy to put together and are very sturdy… This one in particular offers great support! This was for our “guest” room, that we also use as our home office. The 18 in height is perfect, as we can easily store many totes by simply sliding them underneath and still have easy access when needed. Great value for the cost! Functions as expected.

   PROS: + It supports my 15″ foam mattress very well without boxsprings. + The mattress doesn’t sag without the box springs even when my husband (he’s 6’1, 245 lbs) lays on it. + If box springs are used, the frame has a little dip that the box springs sit in to keep them from sliding around. + The frame looks nice and feels solid. + They placed the styrofoam in plastic bags so there was no big mess as I pulled the pieces out of the box. + All the tools and screws needed are supplied. + Once you figure out where the pieces go and lay it out on the floor, it takes less than 10 minutes to put it together. + The frame comes with a 5 year warranty and their customer service is awesome. (After 13 months of ownership we recently had to contact the company after the middle leg of the ‘E’ section of the frame snapped where it had been welded to the frame. They were quick to respond to our email and had a replacement part sent out to us within 24 hours of us supplying the invoice and pictures of the broken leg.) NEUTRAL: +/- There is room for storage underneath. It’s not tall enough for totes but will easily accommodate bins or boxes under a foot tall. +/- The frame slides pretty easily on our hardwood floor, but the the hard plastic caps under the feet have prevented any scratching. +/- Removing our bedsprings and laying our foam mattress solely on the frame made our mattress feel much softer. While there was still no sagging after almost 2 years of laying the mattress on the frame, we decided to add 3/4″ thick plywood ($40) cut to fit inside the frame under our mattress to give our mattress more support and a firmer feel without the added height boxsprings give. CONS: – My frame arrived with several deep scratches which made me wonder if I happened to receive a returned item. – The individual parts are not labeled with stickers so you must refer to the paperwork to figure out how to lay the 7 frame pieces out before assembly. – The end of the frame sticks out a good 2.5″ from the end of our mattress which caused a lot of stubbed toes and scraped calves in the beginning. – The middle support leg on part ‘E’ of our frame snapped after just 13 months. Additional info in case my 9 photos don’t upload (which has been happening pretty frequently). * There are 20 slats total, 10 per side * The four middle slats have assigned spots and are marked with an orange sticker. The rest can be placed where you please. * There is just under 13″ of clearance for storage underneath the bed. * There are 7″ in between each slat except for the very first slat and the bed frame and the very last slat and bed frame where there is a 3″ space.

   Nice, sturdy frame I got the queen size and the 18” rise in black. It is very sturdy and good quality for the value of money! I like the high rise. The comforter on our bed is oversized, I got a king for the size queen and it hangs over nicely

   I bought this after watching the video review I was sold got it home easy to set it up with help need a Xtra person to help being a cal king it was put together in about 15 min easily no problem the mattress I bought is extremely heavy and this base holds it fine no wobbling very strong does not have any weakness n legs supriseingly being so thin but it’s definatky worth it my bind fit so nicely under bed and it really helps with storage and hiding it only downside I’d the inside rails are a bit to far apart for my mattress recommendation. So I had to put plyboard under mattress so it wouldn’t sag thru the slats being so heavy but no squeeking slideing or noise at all stronger than any base I ever seen I love it my mattress is 12 in thick so total height in all I lay 30 inch up from floor I suggest if u tend to fall out of bed get side rails if u have small kids watch out they could get hurt if rhey fell off the bed its a bit far being so high off ground supervise small kids or older adults if fall risk I am so I’m searching side rails for it also now someone needs to make a bedskirt or some sort of item to hide the storage under bed no bedspread will hide the underbed items too short so someone make a longer hideing item for this height please ill be first to try it out somthing modern and easy to open or close the storage area hide unsightly storage items 12in +18in =30 Inch long bed spread would be awesome for my setup very happy over all o recommend defiantly great price as well

    Item was easy to assemble and is very strong. My husband is 6 FT Tall 300 lbs and this frame (without box spring) is able to hold our new hybrid mattress and the two of us without any issues. A bit of squeaking but nothing disruptive. The support legs in the middle of the bed take some getting used to as we keep walking into them but I wrapped padded black socks around them and problem solved. Great purchase for the price very pleased with it.
