   I absolutely love this bed! It is perfect and exactly what I wanted. The color is just what I expected not too yellow gold but more of a bronze gold. I read some reviews that said there was missing pieces but everything came with it and it was very well packaged. Super easy to put together, took about 1.5 hours with two people. Also very sturdy. And not cheaply made at all. Definitely recommend.

   The most frustrating part was taking everything out of the box and setting up. I read that you should make sure you have every part before assembling in case something is not included so I went over every screw and piece. Took about 2 1/2 hours by myself from opening the box to completing the setup but it wasn’t difficult at all . Also read a few reviews about it being squeaky so made sure to get all the screws as tight as possible. I have a fairly heavy mattress, I’m under 120 pounds and sleep alone but haven’t experienced any issued with the frame bending/warping or squeaking and have had for 2 months. Looks great! One other thing, a lot of people saying the gold isn’t as bright as it appears online which is true but did not bother me especially after knowing this ahead of time. I have attached a picture of a very basic easy to find Walmart lamp, I have this in my room and the color is almost identical, they match very well. The lamp has a more flat finish but the color is the same. Maybe an option to see in person if you want a clearer idea of the color before ordering the bed frame!

   Love this bed. Fits the mattress perfectly. Easy to assemble and very sturdy as all the pieces are metal. All parts have smooth finish even the metal slats with slight sheen not overwhelming. The price was under $200 for a queen in gold. Great product!

   When I received this bed, I immediately started putting it together using the instructions provided and quickly realized that the numbers were wrong and that I had all different pieces. After doing some research online, I found that I had received the wrong set of instructions. So, I had to undo everything I had done and start over.I assemble things quite often so I am decent at putting things together, but this took me 3 hours to do. It was extremely manual and difficult to assemble. Once it was assembled, it looked okay but I didn’t love it. I thought because I spent so much time putting it together that I would try it out for a few days, so I did. About 4 days into sleeping on it, it became the noisiest bed I’d ever slept on. I would roll over and it sounded like someone was jumping on the bed. So after a week of that, I decided to disassemble it and return it, however because the head and footboard do not break down at all, I’ve been searching for a box for a week that will fit the bed frame. I managed to fit it into a box with 2 pieces sticking out slightly and UPS won’t take it. Needless to say, this bed has been nothing but a hassle since I bought it. I would highly recommend spending the money to get something nicer that won’t haunt you for weeks.

   Good things first – I love the look of it. Very chic and neat. The clearance underneath makes it easy for our roomba to do its job. It has held up our weight well (total of 360lbs +). No parts were missing for our shipment, we took a chance on ordering this bed frame as other reviews had mentioned missing parts and bad customer service.
   Now the icky things – no instructions were provided. Novogratz website didn’t have the instructions for this model. One of the other review mentioned DHP and that’s where we could find the instructions going by the model number and not by the name of the model. That was a little inconvenient. The assembly took less than 30 mins for one person to do it. Overall a good bed frame if you are on a budget 🙂

   The bed is fine, it works for what I needed. But it cheaply made for the price. I would recommend going to Ikea to get a bed. The color is off, but it’s not ugly – just not a shiny gold that is not pictured. It seemed like it was talled but it is short to the ground, unable to slide any significant storage underneath. I like the bed, regardless of those issues. The only concern I have is that my headboard and the right upper leg don’t align completely so I could only get one screw in. I will probably email the manufacturer although I don’t know which piece is causing the issue.

   This bed is great for the price. It’s nice looking, and was relatively easy to put together. I love that I don’t need a box spring and the height from the ground is perfect. I love the look of it too. However, a couple of things to note. First, I wouldn’t call this gold. It’s more of a brass color. It’s got a brown shade to it versus a high metallic shine. It doesn’t bother me but just be aware. If you really wanted you could spray paint it gold…but then you could buy any other metal frame and spray paint that. In any case this is a GREAT deal. I bought this frame because it was similar to one I saw at West Elm…that one was $700. The second thing to note is that the frame does not come with assembly instructions. You will have to read the paper inside the box and go online to DHP and type in the right model number for the instructions. All in all I am very happy with my purchase.

   Instructions are so confusing they may have almost ended my relationship. Way too many pieces. Not sturdy at all. SO creaky and loud if I even breathe it creaks. Have fun tossing and turning making all that noise. Looks nice but that’s where it ends.
