To convert it into a bed, just pull the handle and flip the support legs to the floor. The headboard has a USB port and a Type-C port, which is very practical. I can charge my phone while lying down, haha, this is really great!

Really like this murphy bed and would have been 5 stars if weren’t for one or both of the gas struts working as it’s meant too. With both struts on the bed would not stay down or close. We took one off since it was the holidays and we needed the bed to safely function for our guests. Although we did receive a partial refund for the inconvenience since returning wasn’t an option. I’m still searching for replacement gas struts or another way to keep it in the closed position safely when not in use so we can use the space for other things.

It takes a little time to assemble the Murphy bed, but it is not difficult to assemble with the clear instructions. After assembly, it looks sturdy and beautiful. My daughter likes it very much and I hope it can last for a long time.
