I counted on having that space under the bed for storage bins. I got bins that were right under 10″ and I can barely squeak them under the bed. The main reason I chose this bed over so many others was because of the design and the storage underneath. It was easy to put together with decent instructions and supplied the L wrench. It seems sturdy and I love the look of it. I just don’t appreciate it when the description doesn’t match with what you get. Not sure how it will hold up. May update later.

Easy to put together. I did it by myself in just over an hour. Allen key provided was weak so I had to use my own halfway through the build.
Sturdy bed though. I added a box spring and it works just fine. With it, the bed is a little higher and I think it looks better. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars was because of the way it was packaged and the Allen key. All in all, I was happy with the purchase and bought a second one in white. I would write the same exact review for that bed frame as well.
