Found scratches in the same place on both, maybe because the packing on them was so poor so they could easily rub together. The slats and other parts seemed better packaged – but having seen the scratches we didn’t unpack the box further. Considered requesting replacement but as its very light-weight metal, I realised it could easily be scratched further when used.

Ok so honest review here. I chose this bed because of its price range. It was the cheapest king bed frame that was within my budget, and it’s decent enough looking. The bed arrived in perfect shape and on time. Assembly was a pain. It took my husband and I almost 3 hours to put together. The bed is extremely lightweight and I question it’s sturdiness. I’ve only had it for less than a week now, and nothing has broken yet, but it just feels cheap and unsturdy. The bed makes creaking noises when rolling over at night. The description states that a box spring is not needed, and that is true, however the bed sits very low. If you’re not a fan of low sitting beds than I definitely recommend you skip this bed or add a box spring. After sleeping on this bed for a few nights, I caved and purchased a box spring to add to it. It sits that low. The box spring helped tremendously with the height issue. Overall, I would rate the bed ok. If it’s what you can afford it definitely will work, however don’t expect this bed to last a long time. The price reflects the quality. For $200 I expect to get maybe a year or two out of it if I’m lucky. Adult activities are definitely a no no on this bed. It’s just not sturdy enough. It’ll do for now as I needed a king size bed frame for an affordable price, but I foresee myself needing to replace it in the future.

I didn’t have the highest of hopes for this bed frame, just because it was so inexpensive but the reviews were pretty good so I took a chance and boy was I blown out of the water when I put it all together! Its so sturdy and beautiful and was so easy to assemble. It also has 2 different height options, which is nice. Only giving it 4 stars (I’d say 4.5 if it was possible) because it does have a slight squeak when getting on it but it is not enough to be a nuisance for me and doesn’t get in the way of a good night sleep. Overall, I would definitely recommend this if you are wanting a cheap frame that is still pretty to look at and is easy to assemble!
