   Spent hours trying to assemble this bed. The parts are held together with screw and little threaded inserts (see pictures). These inserts seem to be held in only by the paint. As soon as you start to tighten, you will hear a pop and that is the sound of the insert pulling out of part. There are also a few rivet nut inserts that will start to spin when trying to put a bolt in.
   So from no weld, to too much weld. All kinds of sharp little wires and burrs sticking out of welded areas.
   Lastly, unless your mattress is about 3 inches thick, there is barley to no safety rail. Our kids mattress is the same height as the railing (mattress only, no box spring) so a additional safety rail will be needed so she don’t roll out and fall five feet to the floor. Deciding if I want to disassemble this thing, try to box back up (comes in two boxes), and send back or keep and repair…

   I waited a few weeks to write my review to make sure my son had time to break in the bed and I have no complaints! Super sturdy, makes no noise. The LED lights that are included have weak adhesive and the remote doesn’t come with a battery so I just used my own LED lights. Assembly took a few hours. Overall great space saver he needed a desk and a bigger bed so this checked all the boxes. Definitely recommend.

   It was a little confusing to put together. I had to unscrew a lot because I put the bars the wrong way. The stairs is too tight so I wouldn’t recommend for adult. Kids only. Other wise it’s nice.

   Just as advertised with the size, stability, comfort and noise level, and fit, just a few challenges: instructions and previous reviews say it takes 2 people between 2-4 hours to build, it took my partner and I 9 hours ; The strip lights do work but the adhesive is not very well / compatible with the metal, it’s an easy fix though by hopping to Walmart and getting some glue ; the instructions are only images, so there is a lot of guess work with how to orient pieces / where to screw; the railing is a bit shorter than advertised at least in the model shipped to me (as seen in photo). Outside of these very small challenges (in my opinion) with this specific product I do believe this bed and anything sold by this store is worth the money. The shipping took 4 days between my ordering in the middle of the night and the delivery. And it definitely fits the purpose of my purchase. I only gave it 4 stars from the railing as I do have animals that jump without regard for their safety if there is open space. But again an easy fix as bargainbeddingusa.com and Walmart have attachable railings I can buy.

   The bed is not horrible to assemble so that seems good, though I worry that the steps won’t hold up very long being thin particle board (the slick coating is also a downside). Mostly leaving a poor review because of quality issues and the lack of response to help with the thing.
   Issues:
   1) LED light strips will not stick to the metal of the bed frame. I cleaned the bed to ensure no oils or particles were on the frame, but the LEDs immediately came unattached as the double sided tape would stick. I ended up using zip ties to get them to work.
   2) Not that it made much difference because the LED Remote doesn’t work. Originally they gave me some bunk about not being able to ship batteries with the remote (which is crap because the coin cell is well below the UN38.3 lithium shipping threshold). Then they went silent when I explained that I tried 3 different batteries and the remote will not respond.
   3) Manufacturing quality… nothing substantial enough to make me return the thing (because it was nearly assembled when I found the problems). One of the rails was poorly welded and one of the cross bars came loose. Another of the tunes had not been punched all the way out. Another tube had the screw catch loose, so I had to fish it out.

   Is it a good bed? Yes. Does my son love it? Yes. Is the design great? Yes. Are the directions difficult and occasionally missing numbers? Yep!

   It took two of us about 4 hours to build and there were moments I wanted to throw it out the window piece by piece but all in all, it turned out great. The led lights fell down within 30 minutes and the remote does not come with a battery unfortunately. Some good double stick tape and it’ll be fine. Being a full size bed, it has a large amount of space underneath and really helped us combine a game room and a bedroom. The guard rails are great for going up the stairs and sturdy. Would I sign up to build this bed again? Nope! But my son will have a great bed until he goes away to college!
