   Pedi esta base un poco escéptica de que fuera la correcta para mi porque tengo sobrepeso y se ve muy sencilla o fragil. Ya tengo un mes y medio usándola y solo buenos comentarios puedo hacer. El empaque es practico y colocación es súper sencilla, no necesitas herramienta ni nada especial, no es ruidosa ni rechina, es muy firme y se siente segura, la altura es funcional pues te permite almacenar cajas sin problema y si un comentario podría hacer es que después de un tiempo note que se separo un poco de la pared, por lo que podrían ponerle algún acabado antiderrapante a las patas, pero la verdad es lo de menos con el buen resultado.

   I bought this for my Classic Brands Cool Gel 12 Inch Gel Memory Foam Mattress, Queen Size. Classic Brands Cool Gel 12 Inch Gel Memory Foam Mattress, Queen Size The package arrived quickly and was securely boxed. Once I took it out of the box, it was super easy to put together by myself. I’m not young, nor am I muscle-bound and I was still able to put the foundation together by myself and put the mattress on top by myself!! The instructions were pretty clear, as it was mostly a matter on putting the two pieces side-by-side and unfolding the legs. There are also ‘support arms’ that you have to rotate into place, hook onto the bolts and tighten the wing nuts. Once that is done, you flip the platforms over so you can hook them together. This is where the one page instructions shows that it’s an old version, because it talks about positioning the two halves together with ‘keyhole locked in place’. But the bed doesn’t come with the ‘keyhole’ anymore. The queen size platform came with 2 round spacers, bolt & wing nut pieces to connect the two side together. (see the picture I included) The round spacer goes between the two pieces and the bolt & wing nuts hold it in place. I have to admit being a little confused about this for a few moments, especially since the instructions talk about the ‘keyhole’ thingy. But I quickly realized that the two platforms needed the spaces so that the bolts in the center wouldn’t be ‘squeezed’ together. Once I figured this out and put them in place, I was done! Now I have a new modern bed that looks absolutely FANTASTIC in my room!! With this platform and my new gel/memory foam mattress, I feel like I’m sleeping on a cloud and I don’t wake up in pain anymore!! Plus, I was able to get rid of my old mattress and box springs. You don’t need to buy a separate box spring with these two pieces, so you save money on that.

   I’ve only had the mattress that goes on this bed frame for a short time so far so this review is just my initial impressions and I’ll update if needed in the future. So far I’m really happy with this frame, it has plenty of storage space underneath and seems to be built very solidly. As other reviewers have said it literally takes more time to take it out of the box than it does to put together: simply unfold the two halves (I got the California King frame, I believe the twin just has one fold out section), unfold the legs on either end, swing the supports onto the already placed bolts, and tighten the wing nuts. Repeat for the other half and then position the two halves next to each other insert the included large bolt into one side, put the rubber/plastic spacer on the bolt (between the two metal frames) then push the bolt through the other half and tighten the wing nut on the end, and then finally repeat on the other end. I did find that I needed a Phillips head screwdriver for this step to fully tighten the screw/bolt that holds the halves together, and I suspect that this extra tightening should prevent excess squeaking in the future. I’ve attached pictures showing dimensions and spacing as well, I currently have my memory foam mattress right on top of it and I haven’t noticed any sagging, but I’m prepared to put 1×4 slats between the metal wires if it seems to be necessary in the future. Overall I am very happy with this frame. The price was perfect, it seems very sturdy (I’m 6’2″ and 320 pounds, so this was important to me), and it could not have been easier to put together.    I am not one to write reviews, but I read a lot of the reviews for this bed frame and it helped make my decision to order it. I have had it for about 2 months now and no complaints. I have the king size frame with a sealy Cocoon mattress I’m a larger guy 300+ and my wife is a little on the fluffy side, LOL. I was worried about it supporting our weight and making noise. I have to say that I am VERY happy with this frame, it not only supports our weight, but the kids also come in and jump on the bed with us. it’s sturdy, no squeaking noises AT ALL, no wobbling, and it was very easy to put together. One thing I did read was to make sure that all nuts were tightened which I did and I even used a wrench on the wing nuts to tighten them up. I would definitely order this bed frame again or suggest it to anybody especially if you’re on the larger side. Don’t be afraid of noises and durability it worked great for us. Get rid of that old squeaky, broken bent frame and Don’t hesitate to order this one right away, you’ll be happy with this frame, order it now and put it to use quickly. Oh and you can’t beat the price of this, I would have paid 4X what I paid if I knew just how great this frame would be. Good luck and enjoy your new bed like I have.
