Very firm; It almost fixes my bad mattress, but I don’t know how it will be with a new mattress and I’m concerned about not having enough support to prevent sagging because the supports are greater than 3″

This bedframe is a purchase for my guest bedroom, soon to turn into my son’s room. He has a twin mattress he loves, but I need to be able to have a full bed in that room sometimes. So I needed a frame that coverts between the two. Set up was super easy and basically self explanatory. Instructions were clear. The only problem I have is the wing nuts that hold the frame together for the twin option we’re missing. Easy fix to the hardware store, but disappointing I have to make a trip to get them. Would have had 5 stars, but missing hardware knocked it down to 3.
