   Very difficult to assemble and it is awkward to use – the components do not slide in and out smoothly. Given what I paid for the mattresses that bargainbeddingusa.com recommended and paying for a handyman to put the thing together (4 hours and he is very experienced), it would have been easier and much cheaper to just order one from a furniture store.

   This bed is definitely worth buying if you have the patience to assemble it. Lots of pieces and it’s probably best to have two people when assembling. Totally worth it for a smaller room to have the option to pull it out into a king when you have guests stay over.

   I love this bed, but I wish there was enough room under the bed to store the matress for the detachable trundle. I don’t have much space, so I had to place it behind the bed and cover it with a blanket to hide it. I feel like the manufacturer could have done a better job.

   This bed is listed as a king but it only goes to a queen then the bottom roll out but doesn’t lift to make a king it’s more like queen an a twin. It’s well built but not what I was expecting as a king

   Took me a few hours to assemble it alone. I had two 8-inch twin mattresses so I couldn’t use the rolling trundle underneath but I have mattress protectors so I just zipped one up and it fit perfectly underneath without the trundle. Fully expanded its a nice big king bed. Love the bed

   Love the set up of this bed. Twin until you need it for more guests as a King. Looks great, works well. We hired a task rabbit to put it together, (he’s very efficient), took him 2 hours. It comes in lot of pieces. But, I’m so glad we did. We got 2 6″ mattresses to go with it. It works well and looks great!

   Okay so cosmetic damage I wasn’t too upset by. I tried reaching out because the layers of “wood” were separated on most slats & even the face front of the trundle making it IMPOSSIBLE to try to screw through without further damaging & making pieces useless. I had to go buy slats wood filler & sanding sheets. Did all by hand I want to emphasize that THESE PIECES CAME LIKE THIS & for this amount of money going & spending even more on top really sucked. I tried to contact the seller & the only option was a return which wasn’t ideal because I REALLY needed this bed so I HAD to make it work. Also for anyone wondering as a side note the expansion of the bed SUCKS to pull out ended up buying felt so it could glide better & not get stuck on the inside & the trundle does whatever it wants so I have to figure out a way for it to stay aligned & also be pulled out. I WOULDNT recommend honestly save your money or try something else I put way more money into this than I ever would have liked. Only gave the “easy to assemble” three stars BECAUSE the instructions were really easy to understand but the actual materials rendered this unbearable to execute. ______________UPDATED REVIEW___________ Customer service reached out to me regarding the defective/damaged parts & all of my concerns were addressed. They assured me my experience doesn’t meet their expectations of their product. They offered to replace the damaged parts which was very important to me by just providing pictures (fair in my eyes) of the damaged ones or a partial refund since I had already fixed issue so essentially they covered the money I spent to fix the things I had to & I’m ok with that. I’m very pleased with their customer service, after reaching out they were very diligent & quick with the rest of the process. I do want to add that my first experience the bargainbeddingusa.com option to reach cs looped me to just sending the item back for a refund I didn’t know how to reach the actual seller I think if you press the seller name an option to contact them would come up it’s much better to address any concerns with them directly they really are willing to help even if it’s just for a defective piece! I think my mistake from the beginning was trying to contact them through the bargainbeddingusa.com button instead of trying to find a way to them directly. I didn’t notice it maybe because of the “heat of the moment”.
