We love our new frame. It’s sturdy, practical, and attractive.
Assembly took me 4 or 5 hours but was easy to understand. I recommend having another person and a toolbox to speed up the process. The headboard is difficult to move by yourself. As predicted, it shipped in two boxes with different delivery dates.
It’s plenty sturdy for everyday use as well as adult activities. I used the little square pads to keep the corners from damaging the walls.
Our hidden cabinet’s holes were drilled just slightly misaligned so the door isn’t level and makes a little contact on one side but is forgivable. It’s the perfect place to keep our private accessories hidden and accessible.
Lights and power outlet work just fine. Now if we could figure out a way to hide those cords…
The drawers are flawed. It’s easy to crush your fingers if you’re not careful. And if you have cats, they will commandeer the space under your bed and never let you keep them shut. You’ll come home to them ajar every day.
So that’s it. No damage or missing parts. Well worth the money for the style and storage.

I have never been so irritated with putting a furniture piece together. At first I was thrilled because the bed frame was delivered 2 days earlier than expected. All pieces and hardware were there. But as we were pulling everything out to make sure all pieces were there I noticed multiple pieces were not in the best shape. I understand that during shipping there’s a chance the product could get dinged or corners chipped. But the amount of damage was ridiculous. Especially when the cracks through the wood are clearly from manufacturing, not shipping. About 1/3 of the pieces had damage. The headboard backings don’t fit properly. And the instructions were ridiculous. No written instructions. Just pictures. And they do not indicate what side is meant to be the head of the bed or the foot. A lot of it is guessing how it’s supposed to go and hoping for the best. And sometimes having to undo what you did and redo it. Some of the instructions were out of order. I noticed it went 15, 16, 18, 17. Some of the pictures don’t even match up to the product. It was the most infuriating build I’ve ever done. The mattress slides still even with the “no slip” strips. The headboard creaks with every movement. It looks beautiful when it’s all put together. But I do not feel it is worth what I paid.
