   I was looking for a real hardwood bed because my last metal frame was pretty bent and useless after a year. This bed is exactly what I was hoping for, it is very solid, does not make any noise and no wobbling. I put it together myself though it was tricky and using the tool made my hands ache. No biggie though because I got it done without needing to bring in help. I love the height of this bed most of all, as a short person I am so tired of having to climb up into a bed and this one hits perfectly at the back of my thigh in the exact spot to just sit down. I know it sounds silly but that was exactly what I was hoping to find. Would recommend to a friend but would only ask an enemy to help me move it in the future.

   Truly excellent value for money. With high end bedding, this product looks expensive and chic where it peeks out. I was surprised how heavy and solid the parts were (free shipping on something like this is diabolical to the delivery staff) and it went together easily and intuitively. This was going to be a “good enough for now” bed until I could afford a nicer one, but honestly I don’t foresee myself feeling inclined to spend money on something different. ONE CAVEAT, and it’s a big one: there was a definite smell when putting it together. Wear a respirator, open the windows, put a fan on and sleep elsewhere for a night or two (or at the very least with the windows open). It has dissipated by day 3.

   Great bed frame for our new King mattress. Very well packaged shipping boxes. Easy to assemble in about 30-45 minutes. Open boxes, lay it all out to verify nothing is missing and put it together. Instructions are photo only, no wording, so look closely as you go. As previously pointed out in other reviews, the instructions do not show that you need to add washers/lock washers to all of the corner bolts before trying to screw them in place. Also noted, that the wood slats come in 2 rolled up sections. Find the small peg on the roll and put that in the hole near the center of the bed frame before unrolling. Makes them easier to install when working alone Overall, an excellent frame that works well for us.

   Very disappointing.

   The legs of the bed became loose after less than week of use. Just normal sleeping by one normal sized person, no extracurricular activities. I would give it one star, but it looks nice.
