Overall, very sturdy and good-looking bed. No complaints on functionality. However, there are two important things to know before you buy this.
1. This gets delivered in two boxes, and they are both unbelievably heavy. The heavier of the two weighs over 120lbs. If you’re planning on carrying the boxes up a fight of stairs, be prepared to call a friend.
2. Although it doesn’t take a high level of skill to assemble, this bed takes a VERY LONG time to put together. All in, this took me about 5 hours to build just due to the sheer number of fasteners (step 3 of the building instructions includes screwing in a whopping 62 fasteners). Building it can be done alone, but I would also recommend bringing a friend for this as well.
Once it’s built, it’s great. Very sturdy. Just be warned about the weight and the time you will need to set aside to build it.

This bed was a great addition for my daughter’s room. The quality was good. I knew it wasn’t solid wood so I wasn’t disappointed. Same quality as wayfair. Assembly was good. It took a few hours to put together but nothing I couldn’t complete myself. I’d suggest having an electric screwdriver, worked great. Looks stylish and functions as it should. Came shipped in 2 boxes, each delivered a day apart. Arrived 3 days earlier than expected. Nothing damaged and had no missing parts.
Con: I wish there was free shipping. I did wait a while for the product to go one sale to offset the price a bit.

The bed looks great and is very sturdy. However, it is made of cheap particle board. If you are wondering how can it be sturdy if it’s made from cheap materials, this feat is accomplished with the liberal use of fasteners. So many fasteners. The bed frame might be equally metal and wood. Now if you think that this is the perfect solution to getting a great looking bed that is sturdy and affordable, please remember to factor in the cost of your time assembling the bed and its many, many fasteners. I enjoy a good challenge and consider putting together IKEA furniture easy. This was not that. Five hours into this project and I needed a strong drink. Nevertheless, I completed it and finished the project before midnight.

This bed is REALLY nice. Seems complicated to put together, but it’s not. Took about 30 or 45 minutes. It’s solid and sturdy. Does not creak, groan, moan or feel in anyway cheap. It’s heavy. It will not slide around accidentally. Highly recommended! Footboard storage is amazing!
