I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the bed is. It is sturdy, too. You will need a thinner mattress for the trundle as ours didn’t fit.

If I could give 0 stars I would. The quality of this bed is terrible. We are using for a teenager, and it is falling apart after only a few nights of use. I couldn’t imaging putting small children in this bed without fearing for their safety. The t-nuts for the legs have fallen off in 2 spots, the wood is cracking, and the overall quality is awful
