The bed came exactly as described. It was easy to put together (if you have at least some level of handiness), although I would recommend measuring the slats so that they can evenly distribute the weight of the bed since there are no predrilled holes for these bars.
The footboard piece arrived broken, either do to factor or shipping it is uncertain. However, I was able to work with the Lexicon support team and Yuki got me a replacement piece shipped within a couple of days, free of charge. I cannot recommend this bed frame enough. That is saying something considering I am typically very picky with my purchases.
