   Update: mattress is fully expanded now. Watch the video. It says it all. We received the bed and 14” mattress about 36 hours ago. I am wondering if this is typical because it seems like it’s unavoidable..I saw not mention of this issue in the reviews, maybe I missed it. The 14” is just too thick and rigid for the adjustable bed application. Exited about it, We sat in the bed when the mattress was still expanding and was only 5-6” thick and the bed frame system was great and very comfortable in the various settings. But now, with the mattress near fully expanded to its 14” thickness, it’s very different and not nearly as comfortable unless totally flat. The “butt box”, if you will, when upright is merely a low spot and not at all like the image in the ad. it even holds my wife’s 140lb weight 6” off the base when she’s in the bed. The foot end and middle don’t even touch the platform at all when in a lounge position. I feel like a 10” mattress is the maximum they should promote for this application and that may even be too much mattress material for the adjustable frame. I am leaning toward returning the mattress for a 10” and hoping it works as advertised. We will see what the seller comes back with.

   a mattress with a strong edge! The KonaDream mattress fit the bill! She is happy with the purchase!

   This was easy to put together. The electronics work perfectly with the remote. The mattress is soft and remains comfortable in any position.
   My only issue is that I am short and this is a bit difficult for me to get onto the bed.

   I purchased the full-size adjustable bed, and the 14″ mattress with massage. Renanim thought of everything when designing this bed. First and foremost, it is so comfortable! I have had 3 back surgeries, and I have constant neck and back pain. Although my back problems still exist, I can say that I had a great night of sleep! The remote lights up and there is also a LED light at the tip of the remote along with underneath bed lighting, with 2 USB ports on each side. There are several different heights that you can choose for the bed. I decided to use the lowest height because I have a cat, and this will prevent her from going under the bed and playing with the electrical cords. I have attached the different height photos for you to see. Also, the massage is wonderful, and can be set for 10 minutes or 20 minutes for relieving neck, back and foot pain. It was worth the money! Also, customer service was fantastic! As soon as I purchased this bed, I received an email from Renanim informing me that the bed will come in 2 deliveries. Anne and Mary answered every question promptly and was more than happy to help. I would definitely recommend buying this bed and mattress to anyone of my friends. By the way, the headboard on this bed did not come with this purchase.

   The truth is, I regret buying it a thousand times over. I didn’t have the nerve to return it, considering the price. I expected a good finish. On the bottom, the hundreds of cables are visible; it has no protection. Be very careful if you have children or pets, as they are very likely to get electrocuted. I had to put a cloth over it to hide the cables. My advice: run, DON’T BUY IT. For the price, I expected a better finish..

   These beds are heavy duty. It takes 2 if your doing stairs for sure. Well worth the effort. Unfold screw in the legs to the height you like and plug it in. Doesn’t get easier. Remote is awesome as are the options. Raise and lower of course but this has massage a flashlight and under bed lighting so you can see the two usb ports. It just doesn’t get any better. The 12″ mattress is the bump. Not too firm or too soft. This is not the cheapest set on the market but guaranteed you will NOT REGRET this purchase of this Twin XL fully adjustable bed with 12″ mattress. Packed perfect so no lost parts or damage. Fast shipping. Super easy assembly. If you can screw six legs on, you can put this bed together. Mattress just took a few hours to fully expand. Mattress is boxed separately.
