I was very impressed by the quality of this frame. Some of the illustrated instructions require a second look to get the orientation correct, but everything assembled easily with the enclosed button type hex screws and nylon lock nuts. There are 12 steps to the assembly, though the last 2 don’t really say anything except check everything. All the parts are numbered and match the instructions. Even the hardware mounted on a bubble card is labeled – on both sides! You get a hex wrench and a clever disposable socket wrench which actually work pretty well. There are center supports on both the sides, front, and back and one in the center making for quite a sturdy frame. There are 10 cross pieces in addition to the front, back, and center – giving a lot of support which is why it says a box spring is not required. I was a bit hesitant at first, but when I lay on the assembled bed it was quite comfortable. The cross pieces even have rubber inserts in each end, and lay on rubber pads glued to the center piece so there is no noise. There is a ton of room under the bed for storage too. The only negative is that there is really no way to attach a headboard so you have to improvise on that. Lastly, all parts are nicely powder coated and everything fit together perfectly. Packaging was well done with all parts in plastic, labeled, and padded. A good purchase to consider.

I had no idea how great this bed frame would be. We were sorely needing to replace our old frame and box spring and this is a huge improvement. I’m very pleased with how easy it was to assemble and how durable it appears.
First, I can already tell that it will cut down on dust. Besides being able to clean under the bed easier because of extra height, the lack of a box spring makes it stay cleaner.
Second, I do like that extra space. I have it clear right now, but it could be extra storage in the future. As I mentioned, without the box spring, there’s just so much extra space.
Lastly, I am happy that it is so comfortable. Our mattress is relatively new, but we thought it was already sagging. Turns out it just needed a firmer base. My husband and I really like a firm mattress, so the mattress we have with this frame is perfect.

This bed frame is very sturdy. I placed it inside my existing queen size bed frame so I could still use the headboard and full wooden frame. The slats are kind of far apart so I placed some cardboard sheets on them to keep the foam mattress from slipping through. It is working well and easier to deal with than large sheets of plywood.
